My favourite tournament poker player is  James " Chopper " Dempsey
The reason for this being, his ice cold  cool approach to the game sets a good example of how a poker player should conduct themselves at the table and he has a phenomenal ability to reaad other players and knows when to set a perfect trap

that is word for word what I was going to say. uncanny

The very last hand of the night goes to Dewi James, who finds ACES and talks Raymond O’Mahoney into calling his all-in preflop bet of 15k.  “If I had AQ, I’d call!” says Dewi.  Raymond calls holding pocket 66’s.

My Favourite Tournament Player has to be Paul Jackson:

It has been said he is a plodder, well i'd be happy to plod and have his results. Never seems to fluster and his timing is usually impeccable. I have been fortunate enough to play against Paul many times, (mainly online) and a few times Live and have to say have always found him to be a perfect gentleman, he is, imo a great ambassador for the game of poker.

For my money it is Gus Hanson

This guy is gonna have a big year, knows the game backwards and forwards, takes a lot of shit from other players, just seems to have a steadiness about him that is remarkable. If u think playing like Gus is easy just give it a try

Class act, great player, student of the game

uncanny that's exactly what I was going to write..of course pointing out that Allen, Phil and Daniel combined aren't even half the player that James is.
