The players are regrouping for the continuation of the final.  Lost Julian for a bit to the Wandering urge.  This place is huge - and each gaming area decorated differently, and beautifully.  Still impressed.

I just spoke with Abel on the phone, and he feels pretty confident now, especially since he really doesn't have anything to lose...
And with four different scandinavian nationalities up against him, he doesn't have to worry anymore that any of them might be playing together.

Well, now Abel is in even better shape having eliminated Ingemar Backman in 5th place!

Ingemar limped preflop, and when Abel raised to 20,000 on the button, he pushed all-in when it got back to him for a whopping 329,000.  Surprise of the day when Abel Meijberg called him with  jh js.  Ingemar showed  ah kh and they raced for the nearly 700k pot:

The board:  qd

And Mr. Backman receives the fifth place prize of €41,040.

Pic of Ingemar as he took a seat to watch the final four (after coming to the corner where Jonathan of Gutshot and I were sitting so we get our moment on TV congratulating him!)

Abel has over a million in chips now, and he's won another pot (we can see on our silent Press Monitor).. so it looks like he's in control of the table.

Pic from the audience of the final four...

And here's another for you Robert - Peter Muhlbeck kindly posing for us after being knocked out.  He's heading straight for today's stud!  There's no stopping some people.

Birre, that is thanks to Woody who is sat ringside with his laptop and a slightly dodgy internet connection.  We've worked with him in the past - he's bravely stayed down there after Team Norsemen fell early on.  I am bringing more of a highlight service than a blow-by-blow 'raise from button, fold from blinds' kind of thing.  But we congratulate Rolf on his stamina...

Speaking of highlights, the fourth place finisher is Christian Grundtvig.

In the reverse of the previous knockout hand, when Gunner raised to 68k preflop Christian moved all in with  jh js - it was Gunner with the  ad ks.

The flop brought  asp kc , and there were some more outs for Christian when the turn came  qd, but the river failed to bring the needed 10 or J and the Danish player receives €47,880.

Hi Smithy welcome to blonde.. I think it may be as simple as clicking on the paperclip, but RobertHM was having this problem (or one like it) yesterday and would be the one to ask...

Marcel Luske just wandered over to Patrik Antonius for a bit of a chat (some advice, perhaps?) as they take a break.  I think now might be the time to nab some chip counts.

Gunnar raised on the button, Patrik calls from the small blind - Abel re-raises from the big blind.  Gunnar passes, Patrik moves all-in with 10s, Abel called with AJ.  Missed.

So Patrik Antonius doubles up.
