Hi there and welcome back to beautiful Baden where the final eight of the EPT event here are just about to take their seats.  Well, they're just about to be fitted for mics, led to the TV Room and fussed over for 20 minutes...  But close enough!  When the action starts, we'll be here to tell you what it is.  And that's me and Guest Star Mr. Julian Thew, filling in for the quadruply busy Tikay.  So with him packed and off to the airport, the unlimited joys of the free food and sunny terraces are ours to enjoy.  In the breaks.

Gunnar Osterbrod (NOR)  194,300
Patrik Antonius (SWE)    308,400
Torstein Iversen (NOR)   174,500
Edgar Skjevold (NOR)       90,400
Peter Muhlbeck (A)        247,700
Ingemar Backman (SWE) 294,500

Abel Meijberg (NL)         315,100

And that's their seat order, too, folks

Well, Abel is chip leader at this point (I saw him being kitted out by Pokerstars own Conrad in a fetching black PS T-shirt in the hallway five minutes ago).

Sorry nun hehe- Oh, I hear applause so down into the dark basement area I go, away from sun and food.  They are introducing the players, but you know who they are already...

I will try to get some final Photos if I can get near enough, in case you can't put names to (mostly young, Scandinavian) faces.

No, sorry - I caught him saying the man equivalent of 'does my bum look big in this?' - I think the televising makes them all a bit fussier with their appearance.

Good morning Jen. I have a feeling Patrik A is from Norway.

But as Norway is Sweden's 2nd city...........

It's been a fairly wary start with the blinds at 3,000 - 6,000 500 ante.

One big pot Julian spotted involved Patrik and Ingemar who both limped to see a flop of A 6 9.  Patrik bet out 12k, was minimum raised by Ingemar, and called, only to disappear faced with Ingemar's bet on the King turn card.

First all-in situation - Edgar Skjevold makes it 20k to go (bigger than usual).  Christian Grundtvig re-raises to 45k, Edgar moved all-in with AK suited, Christian called with an offsuit AK.  Chop chop.

Hi Karabiner - congrats... it's just non-stop tournament action with the blondeites.

Patrik is from Sweden, but I only know he's not Norwegian as the little hotel lobby sit'n'gos we staged last night ('tax reasons' prevented us from doing so here) featured Team Norsemen manager Woody, who told us all about the Norwegian effort here.  2 Team members and another Norway guy on the final is not bad at all...
