I'll have a win bet on the final but I just don't see how you could pick a winner now. it's at least a 35 horse race, if not more

i think it's a great comp with a great structure & i'm thrilled to be in a 'name' heavy one.
i've played with all the guys in my heat except the internet guy -he could be the most dangerous!
i'd better do some homework & get my thinking cap on...

Love the look of this heat, so many movers and shakers on one table .... this could all be over very quickly and I think its definately going to come down to who has the biggest Kahunas on the day .

Why can't Poker 425 show this live?

It's a 40 minute clock, increasing to 45 for the Final I think, so each heat will last a very long time, far too long to be televised live, sadly. The penalty of a decent clock is that it makes it well nigh impossible to show live. But Presentable TV - - who made Late Night Poker - are making a full-scale production of it, & it will be shown in the New Year I believe.

On a side note, I have a "voice-test" on Tuesday for the co-commentator's role. The lead commentator will be the main man himself, Jesse May, & he's coming to the 425 Studio on Tuesday to do the "test" with me. I am not at all hopeful, they have 4 "proper" names in the frame already, only one is needed, & I fear that my style of "natural" talking won't work at all well alongside the great Jesse, but doing the test in itself is a thrill for me, & I'll consider that in itself as another bonus, in what has been a simply unbelievable year for me.

Who's gonna win the comp? Sheesh, no idea. I doubt if there has EVER been such a great field assembled for a TV Tourney. But seeing the hole cards of the Thewy's & At-It's will make it something special in itself, eh? That Thewy pays any rubbish, you know. We played a little private SNG on Wednesday night in Baden, Iwan Jones, Thewy, Rolf Woods, Jen, me, Conrad from 'Stars, etc. I caught Thewy at it a treat, I had 99, & he tried to move me off it, he had NO CHANCE. His KK outdrew me though.
