Okey dokey, buffet time, but I'l be back later to attempt a more comprehensive chip count of the remaining 60 players.
In the meantime, how about a quick caption comp.
A big prize for the best line for this piccy of Ian Frazer and a neighbouring Scandie...
I know I can beat Brian Wilson and Dave Colclough, but this guy is a piece of work..........
(Ian beat me heads up in the 888.com, then 2 weeks later beat DC heads up, both being TV events)

The field may be predominantly French, but this guy certainly isn't, Brad Lipson haling from America.
He usually plays at the Commerce Casino (400/800 Limit - eek!
) but heard about this comp while he was over here on vacation.
Oh yeah, and I nearly forgot, he's currently on 16k but remains pretty confident.

Brad also made a few observations about the level of play.
"The standard here is incredible. The Commerce can be pretty tough at times, but here some of the play is crazy. Anyone who can afford to stump up 10k should be playing this tournament."

Just while we're waiting for the players to return and for play to recommence (20 minutes according to the clock), let's have a quick lookie likey verdict.
Is Rolf Slotboom's assistant, Vincent, a dead ringer for Jonas Molander or is it just me?...

Looks like Geordie/Yorkshireman Paul Gourlay will be flying the flag tomorrow, he seems pretty keen to play, although I think that will depend on how he does in the cash tonight.

i need someone in authority to have a word !!!! the thought of been stuck in Gay paris on my todd (no shadow support) till friday is a bit of a put off. With massively reduced field they need to shorten the days, sticking a two hour 30 min break in every 2 levels is not the answer.. lets play poker and get back to blighty.
Also the new president is outside the casino and ive had enough of flag waving frenchies for one week....
maybe if i hadn't arrived a day early too, i might be in a better mood

Is his official job title 'Rolf's Assistant' ?
