Never in my life have I experienced anything as difficult as putting £20 on my Titan Account.

Neteller have for some reason closed my account down, so they better refund the bloody £20 I sent to it from my Bank Account.

I have now had to resort to putting £20 on Titan with a Credit Card <<< not very happy about that at all!

So, now I am hoping that I will be auto-registered for the Freeroll - if not heads will roll instead.  lol

I've downloaded via the link on Tikay's email, made a deposit and at the moment it's telling me that the registration is restricted.

Guess I'll wait a bit and try later.

i believe this is all sorted manually rather than an automated service

so it takes time

Does anyone know what port(s) the Titan Poker software requires? The Internet provider at my University residence has taken the liberty of blocking almost every port except those required by the most common pieces of software... and as I cannot connect, I can only assume it uses one which is not default. (i.e. this has not been a problem for VC/William Hill, but Ladbrokes also I have not been able to connect to for what I assume is the same reason).

Sorry to all you guys who got three of the mails tikay sent out about the titain freeroll. At first we all just thought it was down to tikays fantastic computer skills.
But our software developers suggested it was actualy to do with our mail server link being wrong. They said they changed it and the problem should not occur again.

So looks like you did nothin' wrong tikay. This time.....  Wink

I actually got five of them.

Are you trying to highlight my fading memory cells ?

And that makes six now, is there a prize for who gets the most emails ?

OK, so I've registered (as CremeEgg). I had a look at the structure for the event - 2,500 chips, 20 minute levels, very nice. However, it says that rebuys last until Level 8. At 20 minute levels, this is 2h40m into the event. This can't be right, can it?

Answering some queries which have arisen.....

SJR - no, you do not need any code number. If you've signed up with Titan, & depsited your $20, they will send you an e-mail telling you your account is set up. THEN you can register for the Freeroll yourself on the Titan site. Oh, & welcome to blonde!

Rednutt - no banner? It's probably because you have Norton Internt Security. If you disable it temporarily, you should be able to see the Banner. Alternatively, drop a Personal Message (see top of THIS page) to "TonyG". Hope you enjoy blonde.

Luvin Eyes. Drop TonyG a Personal Message please.

Trivial. Sorry, but I don't know what a port is.

Andrew T - wow, well spotted. That seems a bit long! Ill speak to TonyG about it. I could throw a lot of rebuys at a 2 hour 40 min session, wehich is not good. But imagine the Prize pool!

After a week offline, my PC is now working, so it's my turn to sign up tonight. If I have any trouble, I'll ajk myself why.
