4th hand into the DTG 1k added comp and you flop a straight flush draw
you play it ABC on flop with a good raise but he flat calls and pushes on turn
your no longer favourite to win the hand is it time to dump it?

do I count about 1000 in the pot?
 two spades
15 x 2 = 30%
not far off 2/1
worth a punt early doors i'd say

if me and flushy both think call it must be. not cause we're always right, but because we're totally polarised style wise

If he's that bad Iron, I'd think about just flat-calling on the flop.

I see, I see, it's OK - good play even - for Ironside to gamboooooool, according to the pundits here.  So, pray explain why it is "bad play" for his opponent to gambooooool ?  At least the opponent had a hand which had an odds-on chance of winning.  (65% unless you count the extra outs known after the event, even then still over 60%). Don't see how calling with only a 35% chance of winning can be good play - the pot was barely offering 2-1.    You see - it is possible to make a post without inane smilies and other graphics.

i think the reason it was easier for me to gamble was if i missed i still had an average stack

personally my post was more about the pushing in on the turn after calling a reraise on flop

i actually find it a very weak play and has gotten me a number of double ups

Iron is drawing to clean outs, his opponent is hoping 2nd pair is good...
