Raheem Sterling: Liverpool reject £25m Manchester City bid

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/33104367

should get closer to £40m i would have thought? Man C need english players for the champions league quotas..

£25 sounds far too low, yes?

Far to low for me. £35-50m seems right. If poss or at the very least if at the lower end of my estimate we should have 10-20% sell on clause.

Far too much potential to let go "cheap"

Lots of low-value signings makes me wonder if Bodgers has one more season to win something and they're not trusting him with much more £.

£30m fair
£40m good deal for Liverpool (still not worth it)
£50m laughable

Think I agree with Aaron.  I reckon they'll get £40 million and they've done well.

I think the deal comes down to how much is upfront and how much is addons

£35m + £5m doesn't sound great.

Anything above £40m+ is a great deal

surely 35 + 5 addon is much better than losing him for 1/4 of that next season when his contract has a year to go

They would get more than a quarter, if it was this time next season

he will be off this season for sure

just a shame these england players never live up to their price tag

Even if we keep him 2 years and lose him for free we will get at least 10m as he is an academy player under 24

Plus why do you want £15m for Clyne if that's the case
