If we manage to seal these signings I think we will have a shot at winning the league let alone getting a top 4 place

Wow!! My mate told me sky saying £16m!? Is he worth £29m? Certainly not worth 29m not sure the reported fee is correct, more of an attacking midfielder from what I've seen but I'm sure he could play upfront,to an earlier post definitely need a rb and cb

Would prefer "Roberto Firmino is like Raheem Sterling with added finishing and a brain"

looks like £21m rising to £28m. Originally £13.8m was touted. Sounds like Ayre paid the max as usual.
Shirt numbers 7 8 and 11 on offer

The smaller fee is what's going to the club. I believe he's also under third-party ownership. Fantastic signing. Fits the mould of what Rodgers wants from his players and will add to the side.

If Liverpool sign Clyne for £10.5m as expected, they'll have spent £60m on 4 Southampton players in a year. (Players who cost Saints £12m).
Clyne will be a solid signing though, won't he?

It'll be a great signing if we can secure it. comparing the £60m to Soton set £12m is a bit harsh imo, as Lallana was a kid and was bought for £3k from Bournemouth when he was 12. Lovren was over-priced yes.

i dont use twitter so no idea if this is the "offical" twitter feed from liverpool but reported as such they are reporting clyne deal is agreed subject to medical https://twitter.com/liverpool/status/614098198781689856as for solid signing same could be said for all 3 from last season but i do think lovern will be better this year
