Stevie's back Smiley

Rodgers added: "Steven Gerrard - the form he was in today. I think he used every club in his bag today, every pass. He was phenomenal.

Having two up top, and also not having a tired Allen alongside him meant that Gerrard could play his game.  Also helped being up against a poor Norwich side undoubtedly.

No one in a red shirt played badly today. But Gerrard and Suarez were different gravy.

I don't think the omission of Allen from the side can be overlooked either.  He was very good at the start of the season, but his form has dropped off noticeably - and I think he's just tired.  He didn't really have a summer break as he was at the Olympics, so that might be a contributing factor.  His talent is his passing accuracy, but unfortunately that's been missing recently. Without that, he's very much an average midfielder in all honesty.

I don't think the line-up of the side yesterday and Stevie's form was a coincidence.  Of course, it was a very poor Norwich as well - that has to be said.  But the trio of Lucas, Henderson and Gerrard did play well.

you posted the fixtures for the rest of the season in Tips for Tikay earlier. How many points do you think Liverpool could expect from those games. I thought it could be as few as 23 or as many as 35.

yeah a couple of wins could be draws and the draws wins. Be interesting to see the results. Probably a lot closer than Ant might be with Palace run in or Pleno's pre season expectations

Behind the striker, but I have a feeling BR will play him from one of the wide positions.
