gerrard.....COMPLETELY DISINTERESTED

We ll be lucky for mid table mediocrity. WHAT A LOAD OF RUBBISH.
HOW LONG CAN THIS GO ON

And that right there is the truth of it. If you want to know about LFC in the past 10 years you look to that man. When he plays well the team plays well. When he is totally disinterested, demotivated and couldn't care less, it's cos he's sick of carrying this team, its cos he knows the plain simple truth, we'll NEVER win the league under Benitez, he's not a PL winning manager.

Fergie, Wenger, Mourinho are all man managers, player motivators. they first get the very best out of each individual player in the squad and then put a team on the pitch made up of those motivated players. Rafa simply cannot do this. he has tactics in his head and expects player to operate as automatons to carry out his tactics, he is not interested in players, thats why Gs head is hanging so low.

Rafa playing Kuyt as a winger tells you all you need to know. A player with no pace, no ball control, little skill, no abiity to go past a man,  - Rafa's briliant plan - play him as a winger!!

Rafa couldn't win the PL in charge of Utd or Chelsea never mind us. Look at the way Wenger brings on young players and Fergie. look at the way Fergie and Mourinho instil in each player a steely conviction that they can win every game. Then look at the way Rafa has failed to develop young talent like Babel. In over 5 years how many of our young players have developed and taken a spot in the first team?

Rafa can't manage players. He's a poor motivator, man manager, talent developer. These are ALL qualities that the 3 managers who have shared the PL title for 15 years all share, and qualities that Rafa TOTALLY LACKS. Rafa is the anti-Shankly.

Gerrard is the very visible truth of Liverpool Football Club and that truth is total demotivation and recognition of the plain simple honest truth. This manager will never win the Premier League.

Dunno what the general feeling on Merseyside is, but they gotta be fed up by now.

No improvement over the years, and if anything, getting worse each season.

Until this season that statement is totally inaccurate.

Just had a look around on RAWK and the official site's forum. Pissed off fans is right, and there is the usual bunch of Rafa haters who've been about for years but it remains much the same tbh. At the worst it's grown to 70-30 pro Rafa.

The worst thing about this is the decline in performances from last season.

Lucas and N'gog aside I cannot think of one player who has improved.

Marouane Chamakh has agreed to join in a £25million deal and the club expect the player to sign a big money pre-contract agreement before the end of the month. The highly rated striker was wanted by Arsenal, Juventus, Inter Milan and West Ham.

Anyone know any truth in this?  Seems very far fetched seeing as we have no money

I wholly disagree Agger 'is up there with the best' in his position at the moment, he still has a lot to prove, simply because he 'looks sexy' when he carries the ball out of defence masks flaws imo...

Couldn't disagree more. Apart from beefing up a little, which is something I'd like to see, his reading of the game looks absolutely superb, he has pace and is good in the air.

I've just looked over this again, and its even funnier 2nd time round!

Apparently it's 60k p/w, a signing on fee and 5 years of wages that makes up that £25 million so it's possible.
