Do you think Gerrard/Torres will leave you/be forced to leave if you don't come top four this season ?

Some will blatantly call this wishful thinking but I dont think either will go of their own accord unless they're told they have to leave. Of the two, right now, Gerrard would be more likely to leave imho. I dont think people outside of Liverpool fans realise how much Torres wants to be at Liverpool.

Would they be forced to go if we don't make the top 4? Possibly but it's not certain by any means - Purslow - who I actually believe - says we will have an investor as either a part owner or total owner in the next 2 months as we have several banks wanting to finance our stadium but ONLY once the debt is reduced. So it's no longer a question of if we get new investors but when. Apparently there are many interested parties.

The only surefire departure if we don't make the top 4 is Rafa which tbh may happen in the summer now anyway. I would have loved to have seen him with an open wallet.

Gerrard (although apparently carrying an injury) has not been interested the last few weeks. If we did sell one of them I would rather he left for £30m ish (at 30) then selling Torres for £70m with his best years ahead of him.

Seems like there's been someone about to take you over forever now but gl, you need something sorted and quick them two american fools you've got are nearly as bad as Ashley,he's in a league of his own  idiot

Torres does seem really happy at liverpool and i probably wouldn't sell him for 70 either, around the 90 mark and then i prob would

108 say dont sack him 73 say do, so far on the LFC forum.

A loss to Stoke would put him very close. A loss to Spurs would be the bullet.

Seeing as Arsenal is more or less Kroenke's now I think we are the most attractive asset in the EPL right now. So we SHOULD be ok. I hope lol.

Apparently we turned down 70m last summer from Citeh - who knows what bid will come in this season.

Why does Torres want to stay at liverpool so much ?

He seems like a very 'honest' footballer for want of a better word but I can't think of how his career is advantaged in any way by staying there

I would like to see the following team for the weekend:

                    Reina

Degen    Skrtel    Agger  Aurelio

Maxi  Aqualani  Mascherano Babel

         Kuyt  Ngog

Id love to see Babel given a decent run of games up front but seeing as Riera/Benayoun are out injured he's sort of stuck with that position.

And plz plz do not play Insua he keeps getting found at by very ave wingers. I really wanna know how Rafa comes to the conclusion that Insua is a better LB than Aurelio.

He's a huge Liverpool fan, he's settled there and he loves the club and the city. Pretty honest imo.

I thought he was a boyhood Athletico Madrid fan. He left them, so i don't see how he wouldn't think twice about leaving Liverpool if he thought they were holding back his career.

Wow that team is weak, is Carra injured yeah? Out of that team only Reina/possibly Mascherano would get in Manu/Arsenal/Chelsea/City/Spurs/Villas team imo.

He stayed there for how many years without CL football?

He's come to Liverpool, is adored by the fans, seems to love the place - so can't see him leaving for a good few years.  Was worried that if Rafa left he'd be more inclined to leave, but thinking about it any manager who comes in is going to play him every game (when he's fit).

Oh and we desperately need Aurelio back to give Insua a break.  His performances have gone backwards, and it can't be helping his development.
