If Hull hadn't been so inept in the final third they could have secured at least a point today.

Got to take care of our own business and win tommorow would be great to win what is are toughest away game on paper, thought city were excellent against hull kept chances to minimum hull didn't have the quality or craft to play through them and city still showed there extra quality when they could get forward.

Please start fast.
Please defend well. (We may need to score 2 maybe 3 to win)
Please don't start Allen.
Please let Coutinho play his "A" game.
Be brave Brenda, be brave.

If we lose this it won't be the end of the world.
But it will feel like it is.

As a United fan I'd like to say the football Rodgers has gradually implemented has been fantastic, more closely aligned with the munichs/barcas in the modern sense than any other team in the league. If he was given real money would be a scarey prospect.
For balance, I thoroughly hope you're all in 'end of the world' mode later 😉
Should be a great game though, can't see anything but goals. I actually think United will play well, maybe go ahead a couple of times and get clawed back... 2-2 seems likely. Given Chelsea's result it suddenly isn't a must win game so I for think liverpool would mind a draw... Too late for us regarding 4th place whatever happens, frankly we don't deserve it as much as the present top four do.

I can honestly see us turning up and putting 4 passed them. Don't want to get my hopes up too much but wouldn't be overly surprised to see a 4-1 win.

Ha, bold statement. Tbh wouldn't surprise me either, though I'm not expecting it. It's one of those games where anything could happen... first goal is massive confidence-wise, particularly for United. If we go 1-0 up we can sit deeper and break on Liverpool. Liverpool are at their best on the counter so may struggle if they go behind to us.

Agreed. We are bang in trouble if Man U get the first goal. Rogers loves to start matches with a bang though so I am hoping you will be under it from the get go. Even though a draw would be good for us I hope it's not a boring 0-0 . Get ridic excited for this fixture.

Liverpool starting XI: Mignolet, Johnson, Skrtel, Agger, Flanagan, Gerrard, Allen, Henderson, Sterling, Suarez, Sturridge
No coutinho, so slightly more defensive minded!?
Should just go for it.
