Me thinks England will last longer than 3 games, you may have to wait for the inevitable transfer sagas a bit longer 😉
give a man a chance to dream will be great to tune into a match without the preamble being all about england
germany portugal today should of been about 2 great teams in the build up but ITV was still talking about the england italy game
with one of there punters saying that only 1 of the Italian players would fit into England team
i turned the volume off till the kick off

Having been 14/1 at the start of the weekend, Luis Suarez is now just 6/4 to join Barcelona

Could well be the case that a deal is imminent, but could it not be some of the bookies using it as a promotional tool? I'm guessing they could give a price like this, it gets press coverage, and they have nothing to lose other than people going elsewhere to place this exact bet?
Liverpool have been in talks with Barca about signing Sanchez apparently. Is it part of that deal, or is it a case of 2+2=5?
Hope he stays, but if not, hope we get shed-loads for him and it might be best to do a player+cash deal otherwise any club selling a forward Liverpool might be interested in will be able to do a Newcastle and double their selling price when Liverpool come calling.

Show me one that has a quote.
Suarez is great for the papers. His unhinged behaviour, his antics last season and during the summer transfer window, him almost single-handedly beating England, his goal-tally last season, and the fact he's arguably the best striker on the planet at the moment - makes him transfer story number 1. Sells papers, gets impressions for advertisers on the news websites.

notice the lack of quote marks in my post
it was a general statement he has told people he has decided to leave (like it or not)
but dont worry he has done it a couple of seasons now
but as he has a long term contract i can only see him going if liverpool let him
as most release clauses wont come into effect for 12 months after its signed

this one claims he demands a move
http://www.setanta.com/ien/Articles/2014/06/22/Suarez-wants-Spain-move---reports/gnid-166240/
but as with all these stories here its claimed liverpool are confident they will keep him swings and round abouts IMHO

Guillem Balague @GuillemBalague 40s
Barcelona and Real Madrid are definitely trying to get Luis Suárez, who is welcoming one of the approaches.

Who has he told? Maybe he has, and maybe he hasn't - but if he has there'd be a source or a quote would there not?

Which we assume would be Barca? Although what does "welcoming one of the approaches" actually mean? A club he's stated he wants to move to, a club he likes, a club he respects, or just that he's happy that a club like that would want to try and sign him?
I guess we'll have all the speculation until he either signs or the transfer window closes. As I've said before, it'd be a shame if he left - but if he does go a massive transfer fee would help soften the blow.

Do the bookies really need a promo bet with the WC on?
