Think it was rising to £24mil, you could be right tho.
I'm devo'd here, is £35mil could be spent so much more wisely, sack this season off, do 6 months planning for next and spend it properly.

I'm not keen on sacking this season off - but not too sure about the wisdom of £35M for Carroll. 9th most expensive player ever (or something like that)!
I definitely think we need to get a class forward in now though - and have the team working and building from now so we start next season well. I also think we need to finish as high as possible this season.

What would liverpool fans think of signing someone who beats up his gf and is generally a dick weed in life? Makes the fee even more of a gamble. Not sure what is true or not, but a lot of the stuff he's been accused of is most unsavoury. |
