I'd take Lennon, We're crying out for a player of his ilk, Do you not think he would be a good signing for us?

Lennon and Young down the flanks sounds good to me

Congratz to our friend Roy yet again. A free flowing and attacking away league victory making it still unbeaten in all 7 games since he arrived. Amazing really that a tactically naive and negative manager with his small struggling team can produce such outstanding results in the premier league.

Looks ok to me.
Definitely need a defence behind them though, and what formation do we play with those players? What would you do with Mereiles, Lucas and Kuyt?

Depends who we're playing and where. It would be nice to have that many options though and also be able to have a couple of injuries and still have strength there.

We get your point Mantis no need to keep rinsing and repeating. I'm sure we all are happy that Hodgson got a gig so soon and that he's doing well. It didn't work out at Liverpool for whatever reason these things can happen, lets all move on.

Hasnt one of Liverpools problems been strength in depth?
Many options and formations. Defence would need to be on top form though.

Kelly Cahill Agger Contreau
Lennon Meireles Gerrard Young
Suarez Carroll
Friedel, Gulasci, Johnson, Aurellio, Skertel, Wilson, Carragher, Lucas, Spearing, Shelvey, Marveux, Kuyt, Ngog, Pancheco, Shelvey.
Out : Jones, Konchesky, Jovanovic, Kyrgiakos, Maxi, Poulson, Aquilani, Degen, Insua, El Zhar, Cole
Thats starting XI and squad of 26. Dont expect to get much for the 11 up for sale, obv they wont all get sold but would be happy if they did.

Official line is, we don't know what is wrong with him but he's definitely out for last seven games.
off to madrid
If only he was still good enough.
Two good bits of news for LFC fans. Martin Broughton has been knighted and we're apparently going all out for Aaron Lennon.
These count as good news?
These don't?

Very much this. Back 4 needs sorting as a priority. It's awful. We don't have one centre half that Id call good enough/consistent enough/injury free enough any more. Don't get me started on LB.

Lot's going on in the LFC rumour mill.
Enrique is a "done deal" according to Phil Thompson.
New owners are reluctant to give Kenny a 3 yr+ contract apparently due to not wanting to give out long contracts without being sure. Are they looking at who is available? Van Gaal has just been sacked? Amazing he's not been offered it yet imo.

Enrique is definitely a lot more realistic than Coentrao.
