Wonder how Benitez would have fared under the new owners, rather than the jokers G&H? He did well when he was able to spend big rather than looking for bargain basements, which as we know doesn't always work out well.
Guess we'll never know, but things are definitely looking rosier under Kenny. Tempered optimism from many of the fans, and we should definitely be challenging for a top 4 finish this season.

Net spend of 40'ish mill and saving on the wages of £17mill? Impressive.

When a girl hits the floor and it's not Collymore, Andy Carroll
When you're glassed in the face by a mug with no pace, Andy Carroll
When your car's set on fire, called a knob and a liar, Andy Carroll
When you're either in jail, hitting birds or on bail, Andy Carroll

interesting first 11, do think that Adam will be dropped when/if Stevie comes back and proves his fitness and form though.

I think they will play a 4-3-3 with Downing and Suarez playing off of Carroll with Gerrard, Adam and Lucas in midfield.
Personally id prefer
Reina
Johnson Carra Agger Enrique
Kuyt Adam Lucas Downing
Gerrard
Suarez
Doni, kelly, coates, skertel, henderson, bellamy, carroll

Maybe once you see how good Carroll is you'll change your mind ? That isn't ment to sound as condescending as it does but no way Adam/Kuyt should be selected to keep Carroll out and I'd rather have Gerrard in either of there positions and play Carroll.

Haha, Ironically I was just speaking to someone at work last week about how he could play there if needed as he was an abs boss the few times he played for Eng in that role, don't think he has the legs to still do it though, surely the WTF arrow should be at Skrtel when you have Coated since not many Lpool fans have much good to say about him.

Heard a rumour that a decision is being made with regards to the stadium and an announcement will be made soon. Looks like it will be a new stadium rather than a redeveloped Anfield.
(allegedly)

Skrtel looked far better at right back than CB when he played there for a bit the other day. But yeah, he shouldn't be anywhere near the first XI, he's a liability.
