Kenny needs another season, as would any manager who oversaw that season and has only been in charge for 18 months.

If there's no improvement next season, then it's time to consider a change.

Wanted him out regardless if we won the FA cup or not. League position is embarassing.

If it was anyone else but Kenny he would already be sacked by now.

Record at Anfield is so bad. Even my man Roy won more home league games than Dalglish and he was booed out of town.

The problem when Roy was there was the owners. He didn't do himself any favours with the style of football he wanted the team to play, but it was a poisoned chalice taking the job at that time.

I'd get rid

Paul Lambert, Brendan Rodgers would be two choices for starters. Get the team playing a consistent style, develop players

The tactics in the first hour of the cup final, from what I saw, were horrible. The team lacks identity. A lot of money has been wasted

If it wasn't Dalglish, the manager would have been fired earlier this season

Other than with Hodgson, when have Liverpool ever sacked a manager mid-season?

Bow out gracefully as it were.

No idea, but its difficult to deny that he gets more time because of his name and long assocaitionw ith the club isn't it?

I think he would get some leeway, but I'm sure the owners would be giving any manager more than 18 months before replacing him.

I can't argue that he's done brilliantly, obviously. Sometimes the team selection and tactics have been baffling, especially his use of Henderson, Carroll and Kuyt (and others).

Not sure that many clubs do these days, although it is to LFC's credit that they try and stick things out I am sure

With relative resources and the squad investment, what's a fair expectation for Liverpool most seasons?

Top 6? Europe?

On that key metric, Dalglish has failed and realistically has no greater prospect next season of achieving it than this, has he?

We should be challenging for a CL spot, and competing in a number of cup fronts, including Europe.

This season hasn't been a success, even an FA Cup win would have been a coat of gloss over the cracks. Next season I do expect better. If we don't then Dalglish will be replaced.

fwiw i really really really rate henderson, think hes different class, he needs confidence though.

if carroll started every game he would score 15-20 goals a season

I know this will get stick but Rafa Benitez.

I know his last season was awful etc but if you judge his entire term in charge of Liverpool it was on the whole excellent considering his resources. The prem was also the strngest it ever was. I'd like to see what he could do without the penny pinching.
