I wasn't dismissing anyone, Martinez, Rodgers and Lambert may well be great managers and I think they'd all do a good job I just disagree that they should be first choice.
I tell you who does a good job, the man in charge of Martin O'Neill's PR. He's easily miles better than Bruce but he's won 1 in 12 since the start of March - that includes 2 points against the relegated 3. His Villa teams always faded at the end of the season. I know somebody will probably say "Look at Villa now" but making a series of bad appointments doesn't make O'Neill any better.

Spoke to serveral liverpool fans today who have very quickly dropped the "king" from "king kenny". At the minute unfortunatly i cannot see a good manager that liverpool can get they wont spend big bucks on players and stadiums so why are they now going to do it with their manager which is really what they need to do!
I ever heard i die hard Liverpool fan say to me today
We need a Alex Fergersun of a David Moyles type Manager someone to stick with!
I nearly fell over...
Kenny is, and always will be King Kenny. The bloke is a legend at the club.

Wonder why Kenny had to be sacked rather than agreeing a mutual consent jobbie. When he came back he said he would help the club out for as long as needed. Seems when told he wasn't needed anymore he preferred the indignity of getting sacked from his job rather than stepping aside with grace. King or no king he is deffo one awkward bastard.

I adored him as a player an as a player manager in the eighties an you cant deny his credentials in the game ! But whenever he was interviewed it was an unenjoyable watch !

Dave Whelan has confirmed to The Times that #LFC have asked for permission to speak to Roberto Martinez. "It is true," Whelan said.

Martin O@Neill must be gutted he took the Sunderland job.
Would have walked into the Liverpool job and probably been the perfect choice.
M'ON would not have been the club's choice. Whoever comes in will have to accept they are just one of 3 people dealing with recruiting players.

This. The man needs to learn what the word rotation means.

After hearing he was interested in a role upstairs when Comolli left I'd hope we'd at least interview Van Gaal. He's got a great philosophy, fantastic game and player knowledge and he's as mad as a hatter. Perfeck.
Unfortunately life just isn't that simple at Liverpool.

No problem, I didn't assume it was I just wanted to make it clear I wasn't bashing them, more bashing the fact they should be the first choices.
