Been quite skeptical of Rodgers and I know it's just one game but Liverpool looked good today. Allen very assured

I think Rodgers will do well but its going to take him some time.

Liverpool are no longer a big club imo, sure they have a history but so do loads of other teams.

Give the manager time to build something decent, he needs backing from supporters and the board.

Gave City a point today

Don't rate Borini at all and don't think the team can accommodate both him and Saurez.

Joe Allen most overrated player in UK football, Scott Parker without the tackles.

That mantle was held by Charlie Adam. At least now no one rates him.

Looks like Spearing and Carroll both out on loan, would be huge if we pick up Dempsey and Sturridge tomorrow.

Rodgers undoing as many of the Dalglish/Comolli transfer mistakes as he can in one transfer window

Impressive.

KK spent over £100m

Suarez and Enrique a success. Shelvey and Coates still on the fence.

A lot of work to fix in a short space of time.

Carroll £35m
Suarez £23m
Downing £20m
Henderson £16m
Adam £7m
Coates £7m
Enrique £6.2m

114.2m

net spend of £35m in season 11/12 having had a transfer profit the 2 seasons prior.

And why is that seen as good value?

He made the club look terrible. Was banned for a tonne of games and seems to not be able to finish?

You can say its value compare to Carroll which speaks volumes, but compared to cisse/ba/ even RVp to a certain extent it doesn't seen great?
