Would it not be right to say Liverpool are just another team in the Premier League? They are not unbeatable no more and play just standard football, teams nowadays go to Anfield knowing that they can get a result.

I was actually quite shocked at how much Gerrard's game seems to have deteriorated.
I hope it was just one poor game as I've always been a big admirer of his.

Thought Shelvey was good. We are a very avergae team at the moment, gonna be a few seasons when were back to anywhere near the top 4.
I have bet a mate a decent sum that Steven G never plays Champions League football again (minimum group stages). |

i got dogs abuse for posting during the euros i thought gerard had gone at the game
yes he had a decent euros but he cant last a 90 minutes anyway, let alone playing a high pressing game rodgers wants to play.
I thought yesterday he was quite frankly awful, he often walked back into a position didnt close down much at all and appeared to be "cheating" in his attacking running off the ball.
This time next year one of them wont be at liverpool in my opinion
