Kolo always had blistering pace when he was at Arsenal which got him out of trouble when needed, he actually played a fair few games as a very effective right-back.
If he's not lost that pace I reckon he'll do a decent job.
This. Dalglish had the slowest first XI in the prem during his second stint. Rodgers has set about putting pace and pressing aggression all over the pitch. |

That gone through? I read that the transfer was agreed, but they were still doing a deal on the fee. Not seen that much of him, is he any good? This is about to go through. |

Had worse starting fixtures!... Early test on our credentials for a bid for a Top 4 place with 5 of the first 6 fixtures, on paper at least, very winnable. One could say, must wins if we are to be serious about Top 4. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/teams/liverpool/fixturesNasty end of year...gentle start to 2014. Run in from 15th March, is like Hard/Easy/Hard/Easy..etc 2 relegation opponents at the end possibly...  |

Just got what he was really worth! He cost us £20m so trying to look at it as we bought him for his potential never worked out, so in theory able him away. Within the same period made £30m on Torres so we are up £10m. Bought Suarez for £22m, thus Suarez cost us £12m! Prob sell him for a profit of £28m. What more sends me over the edge is what on earth have we done with it all if you also take into account the £30m ish we made on masc and alonso! |
