Oh, and I loved the rendition of the Luis Garcia song!  The highlight of the night Cheesy

Just watched the match on a delayed recording. What a pleasant surprise. Must admit, I was fairly worried before the match and thought it could have been close. But how dangerous did we look in the first half whenever we attacked. Very fluid from Coutinho in particular for me, with Sterling, Suarez and Sturridge linking well and some great finishing. Then second half, some poor finishing - and it could have been 8!

Thought Gerrard was excellent early on when he was needed. So solid in defence, and an excellent header for the first goal. No idea why he isn't on that end of corners more often, rather than taking them.

Defence was pretty solid throughout. Good to have Flanaganaanan back, and he hardly put a foot wrong for me. Two centre backs were excellent as well. Cissokho wasn't too bad defensively, but still looks like his laces are tied together when he has the ball at his feet.

Great result, a good three points, and another small step closer to securing that 4th place spot...

Delayed recording myself just now. Not a word i dont agree with above!

The Kop were in full party mode and going through the full repertoire of songs. They started singing the Luis Garcia song (probably to recognise his retirement), and the rest of Anfield joined in.

Went to the game last night and we took full advantage of evertons high line and used the pace of Sturridge and sterling to get in behind liked what Rodgers did with team but we did get caught out a few times right side with whoever was filling in left side and cissokho needs protecting he was awful again but he bottled two 70/30 tackles which isn't on.mirrales pace and trickier caused us problems looked a better at the back last night which was pleasing and gerrard was much in the holding role blocking loads of shots and skrtel was fantastic.

Owen for me is the worst commentator in Football.
Only thing I agree with was him saying Cissokho is as bad as Traore was!
