So each "worthwhile" signing has cost us £25m. 4 1st teamers using c£100m.

So you say,

Sturridge worth £25m YES
Coutinho worth £25m YES
Toure worth £25m NO
Mignolet worth £25m NO.


So for me jury is out, if i was being harsh, as we have a tight budget, id say could do better.

Especially needing a bigger squad, the back-up players are mid-table prem players at best.

Even a blind squirrell gets the nuts somedays.  He also signed AndyLolcarrol. 

Torres and Babbel out - Suarez and Carroll in. 

Think we did well out of that.

Not that I know of.  Maybe Pepe was on the decline, and he was known for the odd blunder here and there, something Mingolet isn't a stranger to either.

At 25, I guess Mingolet is still very young for a keeper, and his best years are probably ahead of him?

Didnt want to get rid of Reina, but was excited Mignolet was being signed. Now he's here, i never realised how awful some parts of his game was.

Great shot-stopper, reactions, but woeful kicking and debatable decision making. But has above, he's young as keepers go.
