Defo due vs City after the Boxing Day game.

This. We were very unlucky that day.

I'm also tilted beyond belief with the scenes at the end. Celebrating like they've won the league.

I think it's reasonable to celebrate a huge win this late on the season.

Tears though? Really? It's a big win ofc but it's a job half done.

quite an emotional weekend for Liverpool all things considered

Think the very least they can be excused is a tear or two

Rode our luck with few decisions, but what a fight back when it was needed.

i am pleased for Liverpool, fantastic atmosphere, great scenes at the end etc etc

clattenburg's decision not to book suarez, thus a second yellow, for that terrible dive was scandalous.

either its a booking for demichelis or a dive, and a booking for suarez

he gave neither.

shocking from a top ref.

the penalty decisions more understandable, both pens but understand why neither given

I don't think Clattenburg had a great game

I think some of the moaners forget the horrendous decisions in that game. Over the two were square.

I'm completely neutral, but must be said, all somehow seems right with the top echelon of English Football when Liverpool, after the trevails of the last decade or two, head the League, & do so in style.

10 straight wins, extraordinary.

You guys have waited (what seems) forever for this. Enjoy.

Agree with this. the atmosphere beforehand, too had my gooses bumping, as a complete nuetral

I know Liverpool are hardly paupers, but if they do win it against unlimited russian and middle east gazillions then it will be an unparalled achievement in modern british football

I think top 3 finish was the most people hoped for at start of season current postion is not job half done its a bonus and worth celebrating after all fred backed liverpool to be relegated at beginning of season

That is not correct.

Touch of hyperbole there maybe?
The Arsenal side that went all season unbeaten was pretty special.

Not that I would want to detract from Liverpool's achievements this season, they have played with a fire and passion that is a credit to the history of their club. Brendan Rodgers deserves huge amounts of credit for what he has achieved. It hurts, but I hope you finish the job.

don't think so

that Arsenal team was special but the achievement was just about pre-Abramovich (his first season) and pre-Middle east money into City (and pre the glazers borrowing £1bn against Man U's brand/assets) that changed the competitive balance of the league so substantially

i would regard liverpool winning this as a bigger achievement as a league win

From Gerrard, more to do with the occasion and this week, than the 3 points, however massive they were.

Before the KO he was looking up at the sky. Lost his cousin remember, so it meant that lil bit more.

Could be wrong but prior to City in 2012 no side in PL history had won the league without being 2nd the year before. Liverpool doing it from 7th would be ridiculous.

Arsenal had the best PL team I've ever seen but this achievement is up there IMO.

Unlucky Liverpool.  Tikay could stop a train right now.  You will be lucky to make the Champions League with his current form.
