Deluded Scousers expecting to have a good season playing some good football just because you punched above your weight last year.
And bringing the manager into question? Inexcusable. Never the managers fault.
Except when it's going right of course.
Sounds rather similar to the reverse recent upturn and total silence on the Geordie thread in the last few weeks!!! Have you got the 'sack pardew' signs ready made in all european languages for next year's european adventure! I still want him out. A short term run of results doesn't do anything to make me forget the turgid performances we've been putting out for the past 4 seasons.

No pressure on Rodgers for me. He's bought badly. You get through decisions like that by being given time.

did he buy badly or is someone else doing the transfers?
very few managers do the buying anymore
they say the type of player they want and someone else scouts and buys them

How many £100m+ transfer windows do Liverpool intend to give to a rookie manager who has won feck all in his career?

He is a massive part of the decision. Suarez going is the only one completely not in his hands.

Liverpool could easily afford another £100m spend with the owners own personal wealth and/or the increased TV/commerical revenue. If he has bought badly how do you think giving him time is going to help poor players turn into good ones?

Have the owners ever dug into their pockets and brought out £100m to spend on transfers?

By the way, four points from relegation and five points from fourth place. What a weird season.

If he has bought badly how do you think giving him time is going to help poor players turn into good ones? If Mourinho or SAF bought badly how long would it take them to turn a poor player into a good one? The same as any coach.... Forever. You've missed my point. Sacking a coach for a bad window isn't the answer. Sacking him for crap tactics or bad selections would be much more likely. For example why did Can not start yesterday? Saying that, the term "Rookie Coach" is still a massive over-simplification. Sounds a bit like post game knee-jerking/trolling IMO.

So you're saying that managers should take zero responsibility for their purchases.

Yes that's exactly what I just said.

Face palm. A bad window has happened to pretty much every major coach ever. Do you actually believe every coach who has had one should be sacked? Not being held accountable for repeated bad buys year after year is completely different and quite clearly not what I said. Did you actually need your hand holding through those differences? I'm amazed you struggled with it.
