Yup - though he did not seem to know who you were.

That reminds me of that classic footie triva questions: "Sunderland did it in 1979, Villa in 1981. Who did it in 1980?"

Heather Small went onto great things, like appearing in Strictly Come Dancing.

That's so sad - she was a great talent, & I'm surprised she needed to stoop to that.

Floyd, "Shine on you Marvest Moon" - for the guitar solo.

Crazy Diamond ... surely ?

Of course, sorry. What made me type that?

Edited now.

There was a TV programme called Shine On Harvey Moon back in the early 80s written by the two guys who did Birds of a Feather and Neil Young had a song called Harvest Moon.

Somewhere in your brain this has got all mushed up into one fact.

Billy lives in Chislehurst these days, has done for 20 years or more, & by coincidence, Norman Pace does too - but they had never met before tonight.

really? Lived there for a few years and some of my family still do, love elmstead woods Smiley

Really? Apparently so. Norman refers to it as "a village".

She was a minor pop singer for a short while. Without Hero being used for the Olympic bid she wouldn't even have had the level of celebrity needed to get on the programme.

Possibly, though I'm quite good with names usually.

Thanks boldie.

lol, that'll be the london definition then, a bit like nearby bexley village where I went to school. completely unlike what anyone in the rest of the country would class as a village.

I spent a lot of my teen years in chislehurst, drinking the summers away at the ramblers' rest pub

Lol, well, it's always easy when someone's mentioned Ricky Villa. Still, very good trivia question in my opinion.

Next? Hmm. Used to know loads of good ones, but they've prob all changed. Off the top of my head, and without looking at Google, how many league teams can you think of that have the same first and last letters?

I think there are four

Charlton Athletic
Northampton Town
Liverpool
Aston Villa

York City were the 5th until they exited for the conference

all the good triv questions are on a thread on betting tips somewhere, but even I can't be bothered to search for them

oh and charlton athletic, liverpool and northampton town Smiley

Here's a good quiz question.  How many racecourses in the UK do not have any of the letters R A C or E in their names?
