1. Whats happening in the background of those bike pics? Are the police manhandling someone?
2. My Dad has the lower, soft top version of the Vitesse - lovely on summer sunday afternoons.
3. Good luck Celtic x

Good spot - you don't miss much, do you?

Unrelated to the Escort Group, a Mounted Copper had pulled up a biker who was speeding, & it had all gone off, so he sent for back up, & that police-car/van affair arrived. The "Mounted guys" were not interested, they were in the cafe supping coffee & eating sticky buns, doubtless planning to murder some innocent protester, too, as the Met are wont to. Apparently.

Spotted this at Jurys, Heathrow, this morning.

It's being restored, so the paintwork has been rubbed down. Absolutely magnificent, eh?

It has a running-board - now that's CLASS.

Anyone know what it is, before I do the reveal?

The retro-styling of the Morgan Aero Max might appeal to you tikay...but then again it might not.  I think it's automotive Marmite.

I love it.

I've had some pain/discomfort, in my upper body/shoulder area, for over a week, & it's getting worse, & keeps me awake now

If it were only possible to get advice from someone with specialist knowledge of this sort of thing.

They could collect several of these "Specialists" together, and station them in strategic positions around the country. If you didn't know which kind of "Specialist" to see, you could first seek advice from a sort of general ailments chap, who could point you in thee right direction, or maybe even cure you himself.

Sounds wonderful doesn't it? Well don't get too excited. This plan has one major flaw. Namely, it assumes a modicum of common sense on the part of the person with the problem.

Ah well... Never mind. Tell us a train story.

It's probably just the old repetetive-folding-injury anyway Wink

Them mx30 dx flat pedals are quite a classic. Been about for around 10years, pretty much unchanged over that time and used for all sorts from bmx racing to downhill mtb.
Seems a strange bike to have £50+ pedals on though

Geek bit over with for now  thumbs up

Why is it strange? It's the NHS. Frankly I'm surprised they've been so prudent.

because the bikes themselves are overly extravagant although are i guess reasonable depending on your view. They are however abused with the amount of weight they carry.

Don't forget, if anyone is up for a trip to Duxford next week, or the week after, lets do it.

Previously, Ralph, Red, Aces, Kev, Tonji, & a few others were interested, but I think I must have bored everyone to tears, cos it's all gone quiet now.

Would have loved a trip down to Duxford, but work keeps me chained to the office for the next few weeks. Next month I have a working trip to to Alinari National Museum of Photography in Florence to look forward to.

Flushy finished 6th in $5000 omaha hi lo, we all pretty much ignored it. As winning $30k for flushy is like a normal person winning a tenner on the lottery, bit like Moorman.

haha i wish!

Thanks Bongo.

Afghanistan. What an inhospitable landscape. Truth to tell, I don't know why "we" (43 countries, apparently) are there. If it's to help the indigenoius population, fine, but I just don't know the reason. Embarrassing, eh?

Mexico - how stupid is that "wall", between Mexico & the United States? America must have money to burn. And be pretty dumb if they think the wall will stem the tide of illegal immigrants. The Mexicans are poor, America is the land of plenty, but the Americans seem to think American jobs are "our jobs", & must be protected. How wonderful it would be if all borders, everywhere, were abolished, allowing a natural order to take pace, & folks could go where they want. That is what is so good about the EC - they are abolishing borders. Best thing that ever happened, imo.

mx30 dx? Every bike should have them. Shimano's sealed cartridge spindle ftw.
