Yes, I never missed a single Bees match, home or away, for 15 years at one stage.
But as I said, it's almost impossible to have a convo about football that does not get all parochia & daft. Such a shame, really, but I'm not into aggro or arguing over something as trivial as football, ffs, so it'll have to stay under wraps.
At one time in my life, I was a bit of a "Mr Fixit" - very good I was at it, too - & I got asked to obtain 4 Tickets - all adjacent - in the Royal Box for the West Ham v Spurs Cup Final at Wembley.
I sorted it, too. Great story, it ended in a pub car park, the player had the tickets in his hand, & I had a wedge of cash in my hand, & neither of us would "let go" first!

Presumably sulking because I busted out of the £300 on Saturday? Just behave Big Man. There's a £150 on Sunday, too!
Are the Ugly Brothers gonna grace us with their presence?

You'll find a number of us, myself included, who will discuss football with absolutely no aggro.
Also, why Brentford? Did you know Ron Noades? Or was that episode too late for your time watching them. He was a right rogue, told the fans he was funding the club with his own money but in fact borrowed £8m off Barclays secured against Griffin Park. When he got found out, and left, the club was saddled for a long time with the after effects of his crookedness

Agreed,
Just don't mention the Glasgow, Manchester or Liverpool clubs and you'll be ok.

He was working very hard at the Empire until the early hours of this morning.
Leave him alone.

Claire on the team with him was saying she did a 23 hour shift!
I'd imagine tikay will resurface after a long long rest.

Lol guys, thank you for keeping the Diary alive. I think. Two amazing vids there, the Cat & the mating ritual.
Yes, but of a grueller yesterday.
Was not exactly "working" at The Empire yesterday, but I was there a very long time! A fine day it was, too.
Drove down from the Midlands (up at 7am, left at 8am) yesterday morning to Heathrow, dumped car at Jurys at 10am, & was at The Empire at 11am. Filmed the last piece, the "wrap-up" at 05.40 this morning in the square itself, which was freezing cold. We had no Presenter, due to Diary problems, so I took the Presenter role for the day. I'm absolutely shite at Presenting, but even so, was quite disappointed with my efforts. Hey-ho.
Got a lift to Hammersmith with Claire & Jill, took the Tube to Hatton Cross (which is right by Jurys Heathrow) but fell asleep, & managed to miss the stop, not once, but TWICE (the line is a "loop" at Heathrow) & I awoke at South Ealing - London-bound, groan.
Got to Jurys eventually just after 7am, & slept through until 2pm.
Was in Office by 2.30, & now there's a problem, as I've been Offline for nearly 48 hours, so there were 2 pages of e-Mails (almost all done now) & 7 blonde PM's (not opened yet) as well as untold # of PM's at the other place.
Tonight I'm doing PTP from 7pm until Midnight, & staying down here, Jurys again, I can't face driving Norrth tonight.
I'll set off tomorrow morning for Nottingham & poodle North to play the DTD Deepie, which starts at (2pm, 3pm, 4pm?), & with the whole weekend off work, it'll be my first DTD weekend in eons. Looking forward to i immensely, providing I get some sleep tonight, as I do feel a bit wrecked.
I am sure - absolutely convinced - there used to be more hours in the day, & more days in the week. Where do they all go?
Have a good weekend, whatever your plans.
