To be honest when he said that staking him would be just like being there and playing the events myself, I didn't realise that he was going to take it to the level of refusing to cash in any of the tournaments.

Please!

Tx for the comments as to my photographic skills, though. It's a gift, you can't train peeps to do that.

Up at 4am this morning, clearing e-Mails & stuff, body clock in a right 2 & 8.

Staking payments hit my bank overnight from Messrs Gough, Roberts, Tilty, & Nick Jenkins. Oddly, a payment from xxx for 5% was shown on my account on Sunday, but has now disappeared. It was, or appeared to be, from a "cahoot" account.

Chompy arrives later today, God help us.

Goig to try & pen a Blog next door now. It's quite awkward, because the demograph over there is wholly different to here. Not better or worse, just different.

Think I may have sorted out my Twitter/HTC Desire problems now, so hopefully, a little more fun with the Tweets today. Note they were wholly spam free yesterday......

Do tournaments in America have breaks like they do over here or have you not found out yet?

Vince means a break for all players at the same time (when play stops), not individual breaks for players when they take a break but the game continues without them.

No need, no need at all.

My 2nd Penalty was an odd one.

I'm a bit OCD as to keeping my chip "stacks" (OK, OK), neat & tidy, always in multiples of 10 or 20, with the "odds" on top, all lined up nice & straight, highest denoms at the right, & thats how I always know my exact count at any one time.

Early in a Tourney yesterday, playing about 40k, & it included 1 x 10k, & 2 x 5k. All my other chips were nice & organised, lots of 25's, as there were antes, but the "odds" included the high denoms, where I had, at the bottom the 10k, then the 2 x 5k, then some odd 1k's, it never amounted to a stack of ten, so it was on it's own, on top of my stacks of 10's.

I heard the Dealer mention something about "big chips in front", but took no notice, my chips are always in full view, & no funny business.

Suddenly, the TD comes across & gives me a right lecture, followed by (another....) 1 orbit penalty.

"Err, sorry?" I enquire? Polite, like.

"You must keep your biggest denoms on TOP of your pile Sir".

What?

The geezer, a short stocky sort, looked very Scottish lookiing, if you get my drift, maybe remembered me from last year, when he gave me a one Level penalty when I was messing with some mates.  I'd jammed all-in with poo, Matey Boy re-jams, everyone else folded, & I mock make to pull my chips back, "misclick, sorry", but then insta put them back in the middle. We had a bit of a barney on that occasion, so maybe it was "history" yesterday.

Tosser.

Going to be brutally honest here Tikay, the explanations you're giving for the one-round penalties seem ridiculous to me and I don't think I, personally, would want to play at Caesars after reading these. Much rather go and play at the Rio, or the Venetian.

From what you're saying, the biggest denoms were at the top of the pile, on top of your neat stack!

From what you're saying, the biggest denoms were at the top of the pile, on top of your neat stack!

They were at the bottom of the pile that was on the top of my "pyramid". The 10k is luminous orange, too, you need shades on to even look at them!

When in Rome, & all that......thems the Rules, no argument, though I think a little common sense, & a "lighter touch" might be in order.

I actually think Caesars is just about my favourite poker room in the world, tbh, the ambience is wonderful, the setting is grand, & it's run with military precision. "LIKE".

There was not so much as ONE Omaha cash game runing yesterday there, though, just NLHE, as far as the eye could see, sigh.

Going to play Caesars $230 at noon today, then, tomorrow, hook up with the boys over at Venetian, think there's a biggie on tomorrow. I'm glad I played th 2 daft Tourneys yesterday, I'm all set now.

Todasy's Caesars Noon is actually $230 ($200 + $30 Reg Fee) + $10 for Bonus Chips, so for staking purposes, $210. (note the Reg Fee is about 15%, PLUS 3% is with-held from the Prize Pool for "Staff"!).

30 mina clock, starts at 50-100, no 75-150, but all other Levels, including 500-1,000, 15k chips + the 5k "bonus" chips. Antes start at Level 8, 600-1,200/100.

The lower-priced version yesterday had 672 runners & the cash bubble burst at about 9pm.

Not sure on the details of Wednesday's Venetian, but I'll Post before then.

I want to play one of those mega Rio Deepies, too, yesterday's exceeded 1,000 Runners according to Floppy. So much to do, so little time, but I'm confident I can waste your staking money in full......

Was chatting to Simon Trumper yesterday, he & Rob Yong are coming out to play the WSOP main, & both are playing Day 1d.

Half handy, that, Sky Poker have 8 players in the ME, but only one - Thewy - playing 1d, so I can do a bit of a Live Update for the DTD Regulars, & do real-time Tweets on their progress, too, maybe run a "fun Forum Comp" or something.

I have a meeting scheduled with Seth Palansky at 9am this morning, to go over the new Media guidelines & ground rules. I've had my WSOP or WSOP-E Press Pass forfeited 3 times in 5 years for Media misdemeanours, so I dare not push it too hard, but he's OK, & he turns a blind eye when he can.

Hopefully, the absence of ESPN this year will make life easier, & the new uber-strict Guidelines were drafted BEFORE Black Friday, so a few things have changed now. We shall see.

Not the first time the floor has given off rulings at Caesars.

Sigh, just caught up and missed out on the stakage. Good luck out there!

Shame you might not play the Main. If you change your mind I'll have a piece of that instead.

Enjoy Vegas
