Thank you David.
Update from the Table, via my I-Pad?......
Seriously, if I thought peeps were interested, yes, I would.
Amazingly, a kindly but foolish friend saw my Post, & wrote to me - he wanted to buy 50% of my action!
Talk about surprised, yikes I nearly fainted. Now't queer as folk, eh?

A brief update in the breaks would be good. Don't want you marked down as a 'head down, no chat' type; besides which, it's hard enough to remember the value and suits of four cards without distractions

Assumes I'll make the first break.......I'm 'Arry Aggro these days, you know, I play faster than a speeding tortoise.
Been to bed for a kip, could not sleep, too damn excited.
The Tube Strike means I'll have to drive, & the traffic will be wicked.
Can't quite figure why I've not played Live for so long. Think it is because so few 4 Card Tourneys take place in the UK.

Thanks John. I'll deffo enjoy it, once my nerves settle.
Weird thing, "nerves". The saying goes "it gets on my nerves", but I'm not sure what that has to do with the clinical meaning. I suppose "I'm nervous" works though.
I really get nervous at very little these days, but Live Poker has always been the exception.
Partly nervous (that word again....) that I'll make a fool of myself by a terrible play, partly sheer excitement. When I go to Vegas, I'm usually so excited the first few days I speak extra fast, & nobody can understand me.
Nerves have always affected me in my younger days, but poker apart, not so much now.
When I first began dating young ladies, especially if I was particularly smitten, two things happened - the first was that I spoke 15 to the dozen, sheer nerves overcame me, I could not stop. The other, slightly more troublesome problem was that when I'm nervous, I need to wee with great frequency.
The problem with dating nubile young ladies seems to have passed now, though the bladder situation is no better.
You don't get this sort of stuff in "The Best in the Business", now do you?
Gotta go, I need a wee.
