If only.
Still trundling along.
Forgot to charge up my I-pad, battery down to 7%.
Not sure which will last longer.

Am mulling about what to do. What's the sit rep?
How many left over there/stack/average/blinds? If worthwhile visiting, can come over in a bit (maybe 45-60 mins) to help with reporting.

Guy at my table in the cash game at Monte Carlo was not aware that the WSOP was on.
I'm really struggling to understand the sentence I've just typed, even though I just typed it. Read it back twice. Nope. Still not got it

Apologies Tal, my battery expired & I have only just seen this.
The sit rep was not good, either.....

Investors Report, $125 PLO @ Golden Nugget, 5pm Saturday
This did not go too well I'm afraid. Around 100 runners, 7,000 starting chips, with 6 levels to re-enter. As a result, it played like a rebuy, with everyone trying to get all-in every hand to build a stack, or bust & re-enter. With around 25% rake/reg fee (or not far off), including on the Re-Entry, it made no sense to me to play that strategy, so I played it as a freezeout.
Not a great deal to report really.
I watched in awe as Mr Goose potted it UTG, & got re-potted by Aces man, Goosey then repotted it, & the 2 of them got the lot in pre-flop.
Flop was 4-5-7, & so Goosey's 3-6-J-J flopped the straight & held. Yikes.
I managed to survive quite comfortably beyond the re-entry period, & until there were 48 remaining, when a standard but rather comical, typical Omaha spot, arose. I was the wrong side of this one, but you know how it is with Omaha, I'll be on the other side of this coup just as often, so we don't need to get too bothered by it.
Anyway, I button raised holding.....
A-Q-J-5
....and we saw this flop.......
5-2-5
Ooohhhhhh.
Decent player in the BB pots it.
I have a momentary contemplation here, but very quickly form the view that he does not have 2-2 here very often, & even if he does, we are not in dreadful shape, 40-60 at worst, or so I estimated.
It all went in on the 7 turn, & he had a near identical hand to me, though he was a spot better I suppose.....
A-K-J-5
I was quite re-assured to see the A in his hand, so we were likely to be chopping. Or were, until the K rivered, to a chorus of oohs & ahhs from around the table.
Looked like a standard Omaha situation to me.
Absolutely love the game.
Today, we take a step up in class after a week of sellers @ Golden Nugget, & enter Group Company in the $600 PLO8 @ Venetian, 5pm (1am UK) start.

Looking forward to plenty of new a-holes swinging from your belt and extensive new squeezage on the 'morrow.
You've been well placed by your training syndicate in listed/group3 company imho.

Might pop over. Lasted a monumental five hands in the Rio Deepstack. Have an errand to run but will then likely head towards the Venetian. Can watch the basketball in that Rockhouse place again with the Bet Lynch pool table.

Lol @ that Bet Lynch pool table.
Will try and pop up to see you during the break. Luckily, Venetian has plasmas galore, so I can play a lovely PLO8 jobbie, and watch the NBA Finals whilst doing so. Hedonism rules.
