Gl sir

Thanks Dullan.

Back over starting stack again, though Blinds now 300-600, so only 20 Bigs.

Raised to 2,000 with K-K-Q-J, two callers.

Flop J-J-2. Gotta love danglers.

Gave them a free card hoping someone might take a stab, but they both checked. Bet the blank turn, both folded.

103 of 209 remain.

Not in intensive care yet, but am in the not very well ward.

Busto, by-passed Intensive Care straight to the morgue.

Button raised with......

2 callers.

Flop.....

  three clubs Two Diamonds

As good as it gets, but it never getted, ran out 8-2 and his K-8 two pair was good.

Looked a beautiful spot, and I have no regrets this time, the hand played itself.

Unless legal reasons precluded it.

Which, if me and tikay were crushing O'Shea's, they most certainly would.

Tbh, for anything that would be described by normal people as "fun", I'd probably want to set up a staking package Cheesy

Dubstep excepted, obv

At the Infinity Hotel, there are an infinite number of floors starting 40... and an infinite number starting 41...

I am assured by the hotel manager that they can still accommodate guests, however.

Thanks for the recommendation of the Bill Bryson book (a bargain £3.95 in Tesco). Currently reading about President Calvin Coolidge, who, like most American's at the time, I'd never heard of. He came to be known as 'Silent Cal' on account he rarely said anything. One evening at a dinner the woman sitting next to him said "Mr President, my friend bet me I couldn't get you to say three words tonight"

Silent Cal said "You lose" before continuing with his meal.

£3.95 you say? Hmm, might have to break my 'never buy new books' rule.

Investors Update.

Today, is the $1,500 WSOP PLO.

Paid in last night, so don't have to fret or queue today. Brasilia Silver, Table 44, Seat 2.

Seat 2 is the nut bad seat for me, as I struggle to see the board properly. Nothing like getting the excuses in early.

Starts @ Noon, in 45 minutes time, so will now go get me a Starbucks, & live the dream.

Flopped nut flush draw in first orbit on a paired flop (9-8-8) but the betting got very hot so I let go. Pocket Nines man went busto v Pocket Eights.

Next orbit, flopped a set of eights, bet out, but the board ran out terrible (straight and flush) so yielded again.

4,100 from 4,500 after 2 orbits.

Might be best to go take a walk for an hour or two......

Best of luck today mate.

Thanks Dyl. Not going well.......

Got back over starting stack when Mr Bluff Every Hand went to the well once too often.

Had a disaster next hand though, with K-K-8-8 on a 8-5-2 flop.

I bet out, flop was rainbow so they must be wrapped or have a small set.

First guy called, next guy moved all-in for just a touch more, we both called. ( could not re-open betting).

All the draws hit and we checked it down, all-in man rivered the straight, bugger, other kid had a set of deuces.

Maybe I should have continued betting, but I had no idea which one was wrapped.

3,150.
