Getting lively now.
Sean pots it after everyone limps, I call on the button with 9-8-7-6. It looked so pretty.
It is so nearly my flop, 3-4-8.
Someone takes off, there is a reraise, I retire gracefully.
2 players get all in for a 40k pot.
Winning hand was a pair of twos.
Jesus.
GL TK love Omaha comps, bloody work. :-(

Thanks David, & yes, very sad news.
Before the Radio 5 commentary on last night's Burnley-Chelsea game, they replayed an interview Danny Baker did with him after he retired, he came across as a lovely man, very humble & grateful for how his life had turned out.
I had not realised what a huge army of fans he had. Listeners used to play "guess the score" just by the inflection in his voice after he gave the name of the home team. Just saying "Arsenal...." almost told you the score.
I used to enjoy him rding an 8-0 or similar scoreline, his voice rose 3 octaves.
A lovely man. "Nice" is a bit out of fashion, but a grand way to be remembered.

I shall bore you all to death shortly, with my UKPC review, but I'm shattered, so you may be spared for a day or so.
Fun, stressy, tiring, but chuffed to bits, &, overall, very proud. DTD are amazing.

You should be very proud. I enjoyed it hugely and thought it was one of the most fun events I've played in for a long while.

Ha, you can't say THAT!
When you say "I don't wish him bad", that excludes the minor matter of him expiring, we assume?
When Robin Williams sadly passed on, someone suggested a similar thing, "
I had hoped it was Robbie Williams"......!
Outrageous thing to say, I love Robbie, got his posters on my bedroom wall & everything.
Anyway, GO AWAY, after your incred ***** tease on Twitter this morning. Is it that Online Poker is rigged? I did once hear a rumour to that effect......
PS - I have seen Mr Corden on the TV - strangely enough, interviewing Robbie as it happens - but I don't actually know what his "skill" or trade is. Is he an ex-footballer or something? There are quite a few very high-profile personalities who seem to be in the same mould, as it were, in that they have never actually done anything of note, but seem to be quite famous. I don't mind, really, fair play to them, but the road to fame is very odd these days.

Comic actor is his main gig. He has actually won a Tony Award before.
Never been a fan of his, especially after this

Ouch, what a horrible little man. A "comedian" you say? As in, "Alan Pardew & Michael Ashley are comedians" to so many Newcastle United "supporters" who have never built a business or managed a top flight football Club? If so, I like how you phrased that, you should try & take up journalism.

Weird how we can differ sometimes. I saw that and thought pretty much the exact opposite. Did a little googling and seems like Sir Patrick was perhaps more the pantomime villain in this instance.

You do overplay the ingenue card at times. You once compared my handsome visage to Mr Corden in a thread, possibly this one, a long while back. So either you once knew who he was and have since forgotten....

Its fair to say my memory is a little sievey, Alun, but I don't recall ever comparing you to Mr Corden - until last week, I'm not sure I'd even recognize you, I'm embarrassed to say!
I may also be the only person on blonde who has never seen Star Wars. I did once play Yoda in a TV skit Next Door though. I was immensely good.
