I wanted to write up the next Holiday report next, which was Mt Charlston on Tuesday, which ended up as one of the most unforgettable few hours of my entire life, as we saw some amazing wildlife, (seriously, you would never guess in a million years), but I'm out of time, as I need some sleep before today's WSOP thing, so it'll have to wait.

For now, a light lunch, a sleep, & some loin girding.

Where are you now, Captain America?

Those pictures are an amusing take on the phrase, though not accurate from recall!!

animal to my direct left.

An arsey Aussie, who wants to discuss English cricket, to my immediate right.

Stu Rutter to his right.

Best of luck Tony.

Hoping for many pages of ripping yarns with my morning coffee.

We have lost one already king high flush on a paired board, reported the river vs the man who potted every street.  Got Mr Angry on my left too, seems to have lost half his stack and blamed the dealer.  One fella on about 45 already.  I have just over starting.

Yikes.

Much quieter here. Most of our action has been between animal, and Stu Rutter, so far. I got involved with animal, too, and won a 3,600 pot after the cards fell rather kindly for me. Nobody else on the table has got involved yet, just the 3 English boys. (Cornwall counts as English).

Level 1 safely negotiated.

Have 17,600 from 15,000 starting.

No dramas so far.

Stu is playing some big pots with great aplomb. Think I will keep out of his way for a while. Very impressive stuff by Stu, who looks to have stolen 2 big pots already,

Just played an interesting hand, though not sure I played it optimally.

Will stick it on PHA to get some views.

Level 2 safely negotiated.

Played rather more hands than I would normally, as I had a lot of good material.

Played a 12,000 pot against a shortie who shoved, my top set v his flush draw. The flush missed but he took the low, chop chop.

19,000.

Table is a bit scary, not helped by being the meat in the animal/Rutter sandwich. Only played one pot v Stu, and I flopped a whopper. He has great table presence, and is fearless, so I am not mad keen to mix it with him yet awhile.

I left a few chips behind in a pot in which I had top two on a scary board, and completely failed to notice I rivered the nut low. I three quartered the guy who had the same low, bit annoying really, I missed a chunky river bet which he would have paid.

I was so fixated on the awkward high that I missed the low (which rivered) completely.

This actually looks a tough table, now everyone has settled in, several decent players, with Stu the undoubted captain.
