Level 3 complete, difficult level, have slipped back to 8,400.
Kid has arrived, 2 to my right, and has just raised almost every hand, then c-bet. He has been called a few times, and had it most times. He has 23,000. It's relentless, every hand.
Guess we shall need to stand up to him at some stage. I mean, in PLO, we are never far behind, are we?
Annette Obrestad is two to my left, and is sitting very quietly, not getting involved at all so far.

She must be a good candidate for the 100 challenge. You been schmoozing on that front, this trip?

This kid two to my right is bossing the table a treat, and completely cutting me out of the game.
He just folded pre for the first time in 73 years, and I was in like a shot to button raise Annette, who defended. (I had A-Q-6-6cchh).
Bla bla, Annette called, and check raised my c- bet. I had missed completely, so that put me down to 5,500.
Next hand, I called a raise with.....
We were 4 way, I flopped 4 to the flush and middle pair, Mr Bully bet out, and I flatted.
The flush turned, I checked again, Billy Bully bet the pot, I moved in, he folded like a wimp.
Don't be bullying me sunshine, ok?
10,500, with 5 minutes remaining at 100-200.

I wish, on both counts.
Good start to level 5, 13,500 now.
Have a safe journey.

Level 6 just commenced, so we are past halfway for Day One now.
Had one setback, when I tried to get tricky with Mr Bully in a 3 way pot, and checked the nut flush twice, but it paired the river. The other kid then took off and I had to yield. The pot was mine for the taking on the flop, but I got greedy. My man obliged, too, by betting it, but instead of TID with the MOF there and then, I got tricky, or tried to. Expensive mistake.
12,000.
907 entrants according to the plasma, but I fancy over half have busted, or nearly so.

Dinner break, 6 levels completed, 4 levels remain today.
Eventually found some minerals, and played back twice at Mr Bully (who has been owning everyone with relentless aggression, but he can't always gave it, can he?) and got it through both times.
Late reg has closed now, so we will get to see the field size when we return. I'm betting 925 or so entered, and sub 400 remain.
17,500, we go 250-500 upon resumption.
Very happy so far, my nerves have settled, and I feel nice and comfy.

The roll call says there were 978 entrants, and midway through Level 7, a pleasingly symmetrical 333 remain.
The rate of attrition is fast, this could nearly make the money tonight.

Level 7 complete, no progress at all, played one hand, lost it. Bleurgh.
15,000, going 300-600 now, so 25 Bigs. That's ok for now, but will need to get a wriggle on at some stage.
288 remain.

Thanks Ray.
Level 8 was my first really bad level of the day, and I am in big trouble now with a paltry 12 bigs, blinds 400-800.
My table just broke, the new table is a bit of a mare, including Kev Allen.
978 runners, 219 left, 117 paid.
Gamble mode engaged. Really thought I was in good shape to cash easily, but will have to get lucky now.
They will all be in the middle shortly. Fingers crossed they are returned with interest.
