Am feeling a little groggy this morning, not sure why, but I've regged for the WSOP $1,500 PLO which starts at Noon, in just over an hour, Brasilia 33, Seat 7. Gonna have a quick shower now to see if it livens me up, but if I still feel utw, I may withdraw.

I feel groggy every morning.

I know that valet, in fact I wrote about her on here somewhere. I suspect that anyone who frequents Binnions will remember her, she has that sort if quality about her that makes you take notice.

I had a little chat with her once, only superficial stuff but I could have cheerfully talked to her all night. what stories she must have.

I wonder who (apart from Tony obv) remembers the 'Unforgettable Character' feature in Readers Digest? She would have made a great candidate for that.

I certainly remember her and the other slightly younger waitress with shortish blonde hair who worked at Binions for ages but transferred across the road to The Nugget seven or eight years ago.

Binions also has my favourite Vegas dealer, the older black guy about our age with a build and a voice like Barry White. Ever so laid-back but rarely if ever makes a mistake and never takes any shizzle off anyone. Often heard to say "you de man" when the action is on you.

Think I know the dealer Ralph. Is he named Chuck?

Best of luck Tikay.

Suspect it was "Buck" who Tom wrote a great story about, some 7 years ago.

Go to his Diary, use "Search" and type in "Binions".

Level One completed, no dramas, not much action.

Couple of good players on the table, plus one cool dude who sniffs every 3 seconds, the only sound he has emitted in an hour.

There is also The Australian From Hell, who wants to spend 2 minutes thinking every hand and street. He is telling back to back corny jokes, too, a sort of Crocodile Howard Plant.

7,800 from 7,500.

It's must be his worn-out  keyboard which makes him guess at all of the letters.

It reminds me of the time when I first started playing online poker around the year 2000 and I was in a game where there was all sorts of witty repartee taking place in the chat box especially with this one particularly sharp and funny American player.

the trouble was they all seemed to be experienced touch-typists and when I tried to quickly type in a witty reposte to join in the fun it  appeared as gobbledegook with more typos than genuine letters as I was a rank beginner at typing. The witty Yank replied "I hear you man" which still has me chuckling to this day.

Or he'll find himself taking another dump, pretty quickly.
