All set, seated and sated.

The table - where the community cards are dealt - is that green thing in the distance.

How's the cramp in knees, feet & toes? Tried that twiddling toes business?

No more problems with cramp, but I have arthritis or rheumatism in my left wrist, which is extremely painful. It's the hand I use to pull in the chips I win, too.

Best of British.

Looking forward to my first caffeinated squeeze for a few weeks.

1st level complete, and not before time. Easily the worst hour at a table all trip, eclipsing even that day two debacle at Venetian.

Just kept running nice things into nicer things. Had good aces twice, two callers each time, had to yield to strength on paired boards.

Had the nut straight and nut low in a three way pot - barely made a chip with them, 2 of us had same straight and three of us the same low.

Geezer arrived at the vacant seat to my left with 5 minutes left in level one, and doubled up very first hand with the  flopped straight flush versus the ace flush.

Table is well aggro, and 2 players have gone bananas already.

Level 1 we had 150 Bigs at 25-50, we start level 2, having distributed 33% of our stack in a single level, with 50 Bigs, or 5,000 chips.

So, after that report full of hale and hearty cheer, time to dig ourselves out of this hole full of poo.

And we begin level 2 by winning a 1,200 pot.

Raised with a pretty double suited A-3-6-J, one caller, missed the flop but c-bet (called) and we went check check on the end after it double paired.

My A high ( no low) was enough to beat his King high (no low)........

4650 for me.  AA2x <aj72cc mostly all in pre flop.  3 club flop.  Got quartered.  Luckily he'd done 2500 before that hand.

Thanks Andy. Don't leave it too long mate.......

Ended level 2 even worse off, 4,600 going into 75-150.

Not disastrous, but not great, either.

Off we go again.

PS - not seen Animal at the break, but he probably has about 20,000.

SCOOPIO ALERT

At ease, stand by your beds.

I limp UTG with bad aces,.....

.......hoping someone behind gets jiggy.

It goes raise to 450, call, call, call. Well well well. It's a bit face up, but the perfect spot.

POT.

TWO callers, yikes.

Flop..... Two Clubs

Checked to us, we jam.

One fold, the other fella, with all high cards including a queen, calls all in for less.

It runs out nicely, and we are right back in this.

10,800 at 75-150

Then we flop the world with A-Q-Q-J for another small Scoopio.

Thanks Andy.

Level 3 complete, blinds now go 100-200, and we have a very healthy 14,000, (70 Bigs).

One of the best hours of the trip, after starting so badly it felt great to treble up in that level.

What a fickle game this poker lark is.
