Last level of Day One has just started, 500-1,000, there are 189 remaining.
We are holding station on 42,000.

Just caught up now, and some great reading.
Best of luck to you both in the 08, and to Flushy in the team comp.
Quiet night tonight, so will rail up from the room.

Just gave 10,000 back, after I 3 bet with......
My man peeled.
Flop......
He potted it, 100% certain to have the nut low (or better low than me, and I was only drawing to it) so there was no point continuing and we had to let it go.

Unlucky, good fold.
I see Pearljammer snatched the chiplead from Adam Owen. The WSOP site screwing up for me, says 473 remaining from 473...
Edit: Working now, says 180 left so average stacks around 40k I guess. All to play for

Tony I just want to say I look forward every day be it finishing work or waking up to read your diary. You have given stakers and spectators an equal amount of enjoyment .
One thing you and your investors can be proud of , is how hard you have tried to win for everyone and you can be proud that you tried your damn best to win every single chip in every pot you were involved in. How many here can say that ?
Respect Sir
You and your reports have let me relive the great memories I have of the WSOP
Thank You
Craig

With 13 minutes play left on the clock, they announce "last 7 hands" and the clock is killed. 7 hands on this table will take longer than 13 minutes, but it is what it is.

Lost another 7,000, but it was completely unavoidable and I should really have gone skint.
I had A-2-3-9 and slow played the 9-9-K flop and we checked until the Ace river which gave me nines full. Leif now bets and I just flat - he had flopped kings full. Sheesh.

Good luck tomorrow tikay -I saw this advert for a gambling site in Vienna. A bit more like it I say, none of this "gamble responsibly" nonsense.

After peaking at 45,000 I bagged up just 26,600 (coming back at 600-1,200) which was a bit disappointing, but completely unavoidable. A better player would be busto after that Leif hand.
I had to give up with those aces, it just made no sense to continue, then Leif had that bizarre hand where he flopped kings full and I rivered nines full. I sensed he had the Kings, was watching him when the flop came down and his eyes lit up. I could not fold to his small river bet, but I was never raising. What a nit.......
We shall need a double up or two tomorrow, but no need to panic yet, we still have 22 Bigs.
Thanks for the rail, night all.
PS - am supposed to be working tomorrow, but can only work until 2pm. I'm not going to be very popular......

Good work not going bust in those hands!
Not bad shape, 114/156 with 71 paid and only 17 BB's off the average stack of 45.5k.
