Yup, that's the plan. 5.05pm (Vegas) start, which is 0105 UK.
I saw Rob (animalpoker) last night, & he said the Planet Hollywood thing, which has Day 1B today, played OK, but I think I'll stick with the Venetian affair. I was playing cash until 0400am this morning, probably not very bright of me, so I'm tired right now, but I'll go get some sleep shortly.
Tal arrived yesterday, & is staying at Mirage. He came to see me at Rio, & was in good shape.

Good seat.
Definitely beats seats 2, 3, 7 & 8.
You are up late, Mr B. Thought 9pm was the order of the day out in those weird and distant parts.

Chap in seat 5 is almost blind, but he has the full set of viewing gear.
First he uses a contraption with a light and a magnifying glass to view his hole cards. Then he uses an Inspector Clouseau style over sized magnifying glass to examine the community cards.
Incred, really.

Levels are of 40 minutes duration, and we start with 15,000 chips.
Level 1 just ended, and we have 113 entrants so far.
Was a very frustrating level for me, could not get into the game at all, and dribbled 1,500 chips without winning a single pot.
Then, on the very last hand, I found a lovely double suited rundown. I was already facing 2 limps and a min raise from loosey goosey, so I took advantage of my nitty image and wheeled out the old 3 bet.
It was like synchronised folding, they all snap mucked.
15,025 from 15,000 starting. Amazing crushage.

Level 2 complete, blinds now go 100-200. 132 entrants.
Sat pretty quietly, but found 2 nice spots and won both.
In the latter I had the nut flush and my man had the 2nd nut flush. I bet two thirds of the pot on the river and he called instantly. Wish I had bet bigger now, obv, but it's so much easier in hindsight.
19,700 from 15,000.
Enjoying this.
