There was a prog on Radio 4 this evening which followed Robbie Williams weird path into the world of (so-called) para-normal, extra-terrerstial beings being abducted by aliens, UFO's, etc. He's gone utterly bonkers, I thought.
He disappeared from public view 18 months back, & has grown a shaggy beard. Lives in LA with some bird.
He spends pretty much 24/7 watching UFO DVD's, & reading books on same.
The programme folowed him to a "SuperNatural Conference" in Nevada. Would be Nevada, eh?
It was hard to tell if it was a piss-take or not - I'm still not sure. He talked the usual utter tosh about Aliens that we always hear, but he then questioned why, when so many people allegedly see them, nobody ever gets pictures of them.
I'm just not sure if he's gone the David Icke - Michael Jackson route into loony-land, or he's thinking above my level. Either way, I miss his rare singing & acting talent. Except when the drugs did for him, he's rarely made a bad record, & his Videos are far & away the best in the business, in my opinion. His arrogant strut really did it for me.

9/11 yes, Di no.
But yes, you are right.
It's just dreadful. It'll be headlines in every paper tomorrow (OK, except The Sun & The Star, & The Mail who will lead on "Maddie - witness says she's seen the girl"). By Thursday, it'll be off the front pages, & we'll be back to worrying about Britney & Amy.

Oddly, no, I thought that was among his worst.
I liked his older stuff - The "Summer In France" ones were really beautiful, the "Italian (?) blag", the Motor Racing/Jackie-Stewart one, The Elstree Studios James Bond, The Ice-Skating one. Funny because he was laughing at himself. I like those who don't take themselves too seriously. I even likee those old Take That Videos - that one with them in big fur coats, & that cool yankee motor.

Listen to this, & you'll never fly again.
Flushy will like this.

OMG the ATC here is so bad, its kind typical of US ATC, they are very lax in their lingo.
Obv doesn't help 981 has no idea how to speak English!
Funny thing is by the sounds of it they asked for progressive taxi instructions, not the best idea if you cant speak the lingo!

So Gazza has been "sectioned" apparently. Alcohol & cocaine have done their wonders to perform. Very sad in a way, he had all that talent & money, pissed it away, & now he's in a shocking state.
I hope he recovers, but it's not funny, his head is completely frazzled, & you can't wish that on anyone.
The humour, if there can be any, came fom the Tabloids coverage. "The Sun" said, straight-faced, that he "tried to drown himaelf in the bath, by holding his head under water". Do people really believe such inane tosh?
If nothing else, I remember him for this - one of the greatest football pics ever.

But the exception is the brain. We only get one bunch of Brain Cells (memory inclusive) in our entire life, & once they die, which they do, but very slowly, & later in life, that's it, there's no subs or replacements. I tried to look it up today in ASHONE, but I can't remember where I put the damn thing.
Not 100% accurate. Some brain cells do regrow (in the hippocampus).

I cleaned out - well, emptied - the inside of my car yesterdy, as I have to take a passenger to Brighton today. (I emptied approx the equivelant of one wheelie-bin full of coffee cups & crisp bags). In doing so, I found some old CD's that I'd forgotten I had lost. So whilst pummeling up & down to Luton three times, I had a Johnny Cash afternoon. Try this for one clever lyric.
Well, I woke up Sunday morning
With no way to hold my head that didn't hurt.
And the beer I had for breakfast wasn't bad,
So I had one more for dessert.
Then I fumbled in my closet through my clothes
And found my cleanest dirty shirt.
Then I washed my face and combed my hair
And stumbled down the stairs to meet the day.
