At the far end is Mark Robson (Miami Vic on blonde), who runs the TV side day-to day, I think he's "Executive Producer, Channel" or somesuch. He's never been forgiven for being the one who initially recruited me.

To his right (as we look) is Pete Ward, aka God, at Feltham.

Nice. Who's the broad in the pink?

Broad indeed, behave. She is Miss H. Taylor, as explained earlier.

Look away now, there now follows a series of Vegas Skyline Pics, which I just thought may interest those who have never been to Vegas. I took them from left to right, from the roof of the Rio, which is Floor 52 I think.

The ugly gold-mirrored building far left is "Trump", & the two near-identical curly-roofed buildings are my favourite buildings in Vegas, "Wynn", & it's cleverly named twin, "Encore". I can't recall the names of the others, but one might be Treasure Island, or Mirage.

The voodoo lounge is a rip off. It's $20 bucks just to get in! I had one drink when I was there, $10 for a single vodka and coat. Outrageous.

You can get a KFC Bucket, feeds 5, for a tenner anywhere. Cant beat it, either, drink included. Not seen a KFC here yet.

I dined at a Barbecue joint in the Rio yesterday, (all pleasure nullified by excruciatingly loud music), where the Head Barbecuer, a Mr Kirk, claimed to have been elected to the American Barbecue Hall of Fame. Only in America......

$10 bucks for a Vodka and a new coat ... BARGAIN IMO.

Thanks for the building ID Flushy, & stay around, you may be needed.

Centre picture here is Caesars Palace, which has a great card-room, & I suppose handsome is as handsome does, but visually, that mock-Roman Tower may well be the world's tackiest & daftest piece of architecture, I nearly throw up just looking at it.

This is the right hand edge of Caesars, & then, I think, the rear of the Bellagio.

Note the humongus new blocks to the right of the Bellagio, the land upon which they stand must be worth a fortune. I assume, but don't know, they will be Hotels, they are massive.

Was thinking the same myself.  Strange concoction though.

Further to the right are three more giant new towers under construction. More Hotels, I suppose. One day they'll outstrip demand, & all the wheels will fall off Tacky-Town then, as they must be mortgaged to the hilt. The airport is in the distance, but is no more than 2 miles from the Strip, which seems a bit strange.

Finally, in stark contrast to all those high-rise Hotels, this is the residential area I guess. You can see, foreground, the Amtrak Railroad, which carries freight to Boulder City & Hoover Dam. I saw a freight train comprising an amazing 67 freight wagons, though it was only going slowly. I'll get a pic of one tomorrow, as I can see them from my Hotel window.

I had the idea of taking pics of the same Vegas Skyline at night, same set of pics. I think you can but agree, when you see those, it was a bit of a daft idea.
