Cottonbud is blessed!
He just took a guy for £11,000 on the SP H-U Tables. Took him best part of an hour, too.

It is thirty years since Margaret Thatcher became Prime Minister. Her private papers for 1979 are now being released at the Churchill Archive Centre in Cambridge, a month after the opening of her official files for the year at the National Archives in Kew.
The Margaret Thatcher Foundation and the separate Archive Trust are combining to digitise them all and put the best online. Thousands upon thousands will eventually feature on this site, making Margaret Thatcher's career (we believe) the most accessible of any political or public figure in history to date. Others will surely follow, but not for the first time she will have been well ahead of the pack.
Thought you might like to read this.

Another enjoyable trio of shows on Saturday night Tikay.
Do you have a script for the marrrrster cash shows or is it off the cuff stuff?

Thank you. I rather enjoyed it on Saturday night, & it helped make up for my dreadfully inept effort the previous Saturday.
Script? No. The Presenter has a script, but my stuff is all on the fly, & ad-lib. I tried using scripts & Auto-Cues, but it does not work for me, I just can't do it, it's all so wooden.
I got inundated with positive feedback yesterday about the Show, more so than ever before I think, which produces a sort of ego-enhancing feel-good factor. Quite the opposite of the feel-bad factor & negative ego I felt last week, which I did not much enjoy.
I "perfiorm" best when I can just get anecdotal & meander around.
I thought the John Terry stuff at the top of the first Show was a bit off-Message - God Bless Orford! So I stuck rigidly to Poker. And the sexual habits of ducks.
So, Saturday was good, & I drove home "on air".
But it all went rather badly pete-tong yesterday, all "departments" had a bad day.

I thought so, as i couldn't envisage any script containing the duck material, different class.
You must find it hard sometimes with the constant juggling of hats and the swings that go with different departments?

Page 9 of The Times today has an editorial and article on the subject of John Terry's position as England Captain, claiming he should resign as captain before it is taken away from him. Now, not only does it show how ridiculously overblown footballers are these days but the article underneath it is about the president of South Africa who has had an affair, that lead to the birth of a child with the daughter of a high ranking South African World Cup organiser.
It is his 20th child, many born to lovers and wives. He is described as one of the most famous polygamist's and was acquitted of rape in 2006 but admitted having unprotected intercourse with the daughter of a close family friend that he knew had HIV.
There is no call for his resignation or claims that he is out of order yet this guy is President of a country. If he and Bill Clinton can continue doing their jobs after extra marital misdemeanours why is someone that in the grand scheme of things is a pretty insignificant sportsman compared to the power they hold being forced out of captaining England?
Have footballers and their affairs really become that important?

I have no idea what you allude to.
I've been locked in a room most of the afternoon. And you'd never guess in a million years what I was doing in there.
It's just part my job.
