Been buying up shops for years too Rich, whichout seemingly realising that shop business will be slowly dying out. As for the transformed parts of their business, the big exceptional expenses came down to scrapping about 5 years worth of work on their back office that was shambolic and starting again from scratch.

Tony,

You couldnt make it up

John Terry has hit back at Craig Bellamy over a television jibe about his conduct.

Although Terry has remained silent about the alleged affair with Wayne Bridge's former girlfriend Vanessa Perroncel, which cost him the England captaincy and a long-time friendship, he felt Bellamy's attack after Chelsea's 4-2 defeat to Manchester City was a step too far.

Given his own chequered past, Bellamy knew he was leaving himself open to a counter punch when he claimed: "Everybody in football knows what the guy is like. But that is off the field."

And while Terry is clearly not in the mood for an in-depth discussion about their respective personal lives, he felt Bellamy's snide comment could not go unchallenged.

"People in glass houses should not throw stones," said the Chelsea captain.

Given the bad blood that so obviously now exists between Terry and certain members of the City squad, it is probably just as well Roberto Mancini's men did not book a return visit to Stamford Bridge in the FA Cup next week.

Bellamy's comments, whilst funny to watch were not needed and seemed kind of stupid coming from a guy who's been done for hitting a woman amongst several other acts of being a dickhead.

Exactly Greek, the pair of them seem to think that the other person is worse than them without realising that they are both disgusting indivuduals.

and there will also be so much that we don't hear of so I think it kinda equals out. I think they have amazingly toasty lives, but I do think that people think that they should just not go out and not drink etc. They have lives and need to socialise, if not will be detrimental on their performance, as you can see from Terry's recent performances. I actually really like Bellamy, yes he is a mouthy twat, but he always gives 100% and will speak to John Terry the exact same as he would speak to someone in league 2 if he met them in the league cup. It's part of his game and part of his personality and if he just quietly went about his game I don't think he'd be anywhere near as effective.

[ ] Means you've got the right to WRONGLY claim he was done for hitting a woman. It matters not if you think he might have - he didn't get done.

He was accused of beating up a Rangers fan in Glasgow (along with John Hartson) - ends up he was in a hotel in Inverness that night before the game the next day. GG the accuser who got done instead.

Sir Michael Foot passed away - 96!

What an amazing life he had.

As an orator, he was top-class, he had it all, humour, passion, & self-deprecating. I almost never agreed with what he said, but he was in the same las as Tony Benn & Enoch Powell - no matter how much you disagree with them, they are fabolous to listen to.

His Son, Paul, was - is? - slightly bonkers, & trading off his Dad's name, wrote some outlandish tosh in the Red-Tops for many years. But, unlike his father, he was an extremist, & so unable to see his opponents viewpoint. And if you can't do that, you'll never win an argument.

But Michael could, & he was most persuasive.

He got some stick in recent years for turning up at the Cenotaph on Rememberance Day in a duffle coat, which was a pretty outrageous thing to accuse him of really, especially by Journos of all people.  Very few respected the War-dead as much as Michael, but the shite journos used the way an old man dressed to diss him.

96, wow, gg  & much respect to him.

How you feeling and how's the diet going?

I'm feeling absolutely fantastic, & the diet is terrific fun. I'm in time trouble today, so I'll bore you with the details later, when I get back Online.

The diet is having weird side-effects though - I sleep so well now, & can't get up in the mornings. But when I get to work, I do a 15 hour stint, no breaks (it's not "work" in the normal sense) & then I sleep like a top.

I'm mentally tizzed today, all messed up in my mind, so many things going off.

I have "backed" my car, to the Lease company, so they just came to collect it from Feltham. Quite sad to see it go, but with 134k on the clock - it had 5k when I got it - it had to be done. But I'm "homeless" for the moment, my car is almost my home, & I keep all sorts in it. All of which is in assorted bags now.

I'm at Feltham, so now I have to get a train up to London, then from St Pancras to Leicester, to collect the replacement car from Regards.

Then a little further North, to home, to do a mountain of laundry & meet Angell & give him some tlc.

In the morning, I need to get some new clothes for Saturday, so gotta go Shopping, the current gear is too big now, gg a few hundred quid.

Then down to Luton Friday afternoon, stay at Days Inn, to meet up with the SP gang, it's a big weekend at Luton for SP, with the SPT on Saturday, & a few dozen mates coming down for the Friday night freezeout, & I have some business to attend to.

Saturday, a 11am start at Luton-G to prepare for the SPT, "meet & greet" stuff, & this & that. We start the Comp at 2pm, & have some "Talent" & Celeb Guests, Lisa-Marie, Trevor Harris, John McCririck, some boxers, athletes, & a young lady called "Kitty Lea". Don't google image Kitty if you are at work.....

Mid afternoon - 4pm-ish - I leave Luton to drive down to Feltham, to do a 3 hour Live Show, the near-climax of Total Player, where the last 6, all vying for a Vegas package, are reduced to 3. The Luton Tourney will be paused at 10.45pm, & ther Plasmas turned on, to watch, Live, the "dreaded moment" on the Show when 6 become 3. All 6 will be at Luton, so it will be a bit gutting for the unlucky 3.

After the Show finishes, at 11pm, I drive back to Luton to see the end of the SPT, maybe commentate the Final, then some "fun" SNG's & stuff, I'll be bringing Orford up with me, & as he lost a prop bet with me, he's gotta wear the Burgundy Jacket. Wink

I stay at Luton Days after all that lot, then on Sunday it's back down to Jury's Heathrow, & I'm working Online Sunday evening as the PTP-er.

Monday - which I now spend at the BSkyB BIG Office in Osterley - some place that! - I have a 10am Meeting, which is quite important on a personal level, it's sort of tied in with my Contract Negotiations, as one of my Contracts (a non-TV one) expires at the end of April, gulp.

Tuesday I'm PTP-er again, I have Live Shows on both Thursday (1), & Saturday (2). Then I'm off on Sunday, & I'll maybe go to Luton for the £100 Freezeout.

I'll be fine once I gt past today, & the car is sorted, that will settle my mind, but right now, I'm all fuzzed up mentally.

OK, off to catch some trains & head north.
