I'll still have 2 Lattes per day, plus a salad & soup at lunchtime, graze on Ryvita & Phili Super-Lite, & white meat & grapes every night, with a few low-fat yoghourts thrown in now & then.

Just planning it makes me feel better.

GL with diet. Do you have a post-diet plan so your weight stays , rougthly, constant? Ciggies binned yet?

Sadly, that's quite beyond my capability, Simon, I've been doing this up & down, feast or famine nonsense, for best part of 40 years now. I blame my metabolism, & pigging tendancies.

Ciggies? Please! I may have already quit.....

How is your health these days?

Tikay, are you disappointed with a number of the tsp finalist saying they were not playing for the win and indeed one winner saying he feels like he has lost £700 for 2nd place rather than winning anything.

13st 9lbs, (191.6 lbs). Suggests a 4lb loss on Day One, but obv wrong, & scale variance will even out over coming days & weeks.

Notwithstanding that, started well, & feel good today, after, at last, a great night's unbroken sleep.

Rennie count - Zero

Nurafen count - Zero.

probably an obvious question, but are you weighing yourself at the same time every day? I believe the best time is just after you wake up.

I'm trying to lose weight too. I've been on it for a week now. I feel better, lighter & fitter and I've lost..... ZERO bloody pounds!

I was hoping to get down to 11st from 12st by the end of Jan, I think I may need to lose a limb for that to happen!

Still the sales of lager, curries, chinese, sweets, crisps & sandwiches have gone down in the Teddington area Smiley

I did exactly that about a year ago - went from 12st to 11st in a month, I got bored of the diet after it took another couple of months to lose an extra 1/2 a stone but that first bit was easy enough.

I 'more or less' followed the principles behind the Weightwatchers diet and went swimming a lot to do that; so that might help.

Taken some dieting advice from all over the forum. Think i'm going to carry on with cereal for breakfast or one slice of brown toast but throwing a banana into the rotation system. At least then I have all day to burn them off.  Posting here because today was my first day on Ryvita (cracked black pepper version) and Phily extra light as you suggested. Was pretty happy with it to be honest.
Tin of Tomato and Butterbean soup tonight!

I want to be able to graph it, & Post the Graph on here daily, but don't know how to do that. Any clues, anyone?

Use Google docs and update that and share the URL so anyone can access it to read (but not edit).  You can then even do screen shots of graphs from it and post them on here for the uber lazy.

Haven't had suet dumplings for about 30 years.

God I'm hungry now.
