I got told off via PM last week for too much football & cement talk (she mean't concrete, obv) on this Diary, so that's it for now on the football.*
* Exemption for discussing "footballing cliches".
Such as, say, when the team who are 2-0 down score 3 minutes from the end of the 90 mins, & the striker runs into the net, all serious & earnest, to collect the ball, & the players all dash up the pitch to accelerate the kick off. Contrast that to the dumb celebrations when they go 1-0 up in ther first 5 minutes. If I was their Manager I'd remind them that the time to celebrate for doing their job properly was after the final whistle. Shoot the tossers, I say.
Goalkeepers wasting time - or not, depending if losing or winning - at goal kicks is another.
Or players protesting about a yellow card - like that is gonna make the ref change his mind.
On second thoughts, no, maybe we had better not discuss that sort of nonsense.

When I was in Borneo last week we did a bit of trecking through the jungle. We got to watch 4 crows attacking an eagle. Was pretty amazing.
Have you ever seen the battle at kruger park video? Nearly 70 million views on youtube. Absolutely amazing stuff!
Oddly enough, yes - yesterday, my Yoof Corry Posted it!
http://blondepoker.com/forum/index.php?topic=25486.26115
Worth you taking a look at that, as two Posts or so later he Posted a porn video. Honest, I kid you not. Eclectic, or what?

That Jeremy Lin story is superb.
Cliffs plz.
The initial Post was by "Jaffa Cake", here.....
http://blondepoker.com/forum/index.php?topic=25486.26160
It then runs through the next few pages, if you can bear to immerse yourself in such august company, including several excellent Posts by my Yoof Corry, even one about watches, which you will enjoy.
Seriously, it really is a splendid tale, & I think you'll love it.
Thanks. I've read it already. This was just a 'I don't read your diary' rub that whooshed you.

Bugger. Did Greeky just do the same thing, too?
Talk about getting owned, sigh.
I will now sulk, & go home to bed for my afternoon torpidity. Hebetude rules.

By linking to the page, not the Post, people get to read other interesting stuff, too, rather than the tunnel vision thing.
PS - OK, I never knew that.

I felt as it was a high class diary, I'd throw some High-End watches in, for the yoofs, you know we like watches!
Also the slightly older readers would no doubt enjoy reading about watches also, and please note that there was in fact no female nudity or sexual suggestion in any part of the post.
Just doing my job, and taking it seriously.

The players singing songs as one of their number went up to take a penalty during the shootout was quite touching, I found
and the penalty shootout was tremendously high quality, for the first 14 penalties, anyway
I look forward to England doing similar at the Euros this summer - perhaps a bit of Come On Eileen.
The way that one of the keepers styled in his penalty was awesome.

What I've learned from reading The Game so far today....the president of Gabon is called Ali Bongo!
Best African leader name - Nigerian president Goodluck Jonathan.
