Tikay - puzzle here that will be easy for such an erudite man as yourself. The plebeian lounge-dwellers don't have a clue.

That Jeremy Lin story is superb.
Cliffs plz.
The initial Post was by "Jaffa Cake", here.....
http://blondepoker.com/forum/index.php?topic=25486.26160
It then runs through the next few pages, if you can bear to immerse yourseslf in such august company, including several excellent Posts by my Yoof Corry, even one about watches, which you will enjoy.
Seriously, it really is a splendid tale, & I think you'll love it.
That's amazing from Honeybadgers yesterday to Jeremy Lin today, I'm glad I've got the day off!!
I loved some of the stuff (by others, not me!) on this Diary yesterday, & learned a great deal I would not otherwise have done. I'm honestly embarrassed to say I had never heard of a honey badger, but what an animal! I've been googling honey badgers ever since.
There was a video of a young bison, or buffalo, too, which had 5 lions holding onto his head, trying to eat him, & 2 crocodiles using it as a tug of war at the other end, jeez - & it survived, & the buffalos got all brave eventually & chased the lions away. Talk about "never give up", eh?
Then we had the Jeremy Lin story to top off the day.
Great tales, very inspiring.
Yeah I had never heard of the Honeybadger so found it most interesting reading about and watching them in action. Some great videos on youtube and some great bits to read all over the net too.
That Battle of Kruger was amazing to watch as you said, the Lions probably wondered what on earth was going on when they were suddenly the ones being chased
I'm just catching up with the Jeremy Lin stuff now I've had dinner, fair play to him too for sticking it out and that should see him set for a great career now hopefully!

From yahoo.
Amazing ‘tsunami cloud’ hits Florida coastline
At first glance, it looks as though a tsunami wave is about to crash into a swathe of high-rise tower blocks.
But for beachgoers and surfers alike along Panama City Beach, Florida, there was no need to panic, the giant wave was just a curious illusion caused by harmless sea fog rolling off the Gulf of Mexico.
So what’s the science behind the captivating photograph taken from a helicopter earlier this month?
This ‘tsunami cloud’ effect is believed to be caused by a phenomenon known as the ‘Kelvin–Helmholtz instability’ that can occur in both air and water.
This is when a fast-moving layer of fluid or air washes over a slower, thicker layer – creating the wispy wave effect.
According to helicopter pilot JR Hott, the clouds appear a few times a year but normally further down the coast.
Mr Hott wrote: "When the temperature, humidity and winds are just right, we'll get this fog that forms on the high rise condos on the beach.”
He added: “The event, while it can form quickly, moves gently and slowly. It isn't something that happens with more than a gentle breeze.”
Seems to be backed up - I think - by this.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kelvin%E2%80%93Helmholtz_instability
Jeez, there are some clever folks around. Unless I have been whooshed - yet again, today - in this case by photoshop.

Such as, say, when the team who are 2-0 down score 3 minutes from the end of the 90 mins, & the striker runs into the net, all serious & earnest, to collect the ball, & the players all dash up the pitch to accelerate the kick off. Contrast that to the dumb celebrations when they go 1-0 up in ther first 5 minutes. If I was their Manager I'd remind them that the time to celebrate for doing their job properly was after the final whistle. Shoot the tossers, I say.
How come at the end of the season when facing relegation or promotion or something equally important does a team throw everybody forward at the end with maximum effort.
You know the sort of thing. Even the goaly type fella is in the 6 yard box trying to get that last gasp equaliser.
Why didn't he do that in the first game of the season? Then they wouldn't be in this bloody predicament!!
Rant over.

When I was in Borneo last week we did a bit of trecking through the jungle. We got to watch 4 crows attacking an eagle. Was pretty amazing.
Have you ever seen the battle at kruger park video? Nearly 70 million views on youtube. Absolutely amazing stuff!
Oddly enough, yes - yesterday, my Yoof Corry Posted it!
http://blondepoker.com/forum/index.php?topic=25486.26115
Worth you taking a look at that, as two Posts or so later he Posted a porn video. Honest, I kid you not. Eclectic, or what?
There was a mini series on National Geographic about this incident. It was worth watching, possibly stretching an 8 minute video a bit too far but still worthwhile. I'm sure it will be repeated at some point.

Tikay, how many scarves do you own?
No idea, Dawn.
In my new posh
house
residence, I have a dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, 4 TV's, & a whole scarf section in the wardrobe.
Posh, or what?
4 TVs!!! Why on earth do you need 4 TVs?
I assume you live on your own the same as myself? Admittedly I have 5 but I only ever watch 1. The others are just for show in case I ever have a visitor.
You don't seem the showy type so I assume you actually need them?
I don't! It was not a chirp at all, just part of a daft comment really, but I do have 4 - Lounge, Kitchen, Study, & Bedroom. At my real home, I have "just" the one, & will never have more than that. It's not even a plasma jobbie.
The London place is sort of rented, I'm a "caretaker tenant" for a good friend, & it came fully-furnished, exactly as she lived in it, everything, top to bottom. Some "interesting" chintzy furniture & drapes, too, though it does not bother me.
I watch the TV in the lounge, & it is "linked" to the one in the kitchen, so I may have that on when I am up & down messing around in the kitchen, but I have never even switched on the ones in the Study or Bedroom.
I have never watched TV in bed in my entire life, it jut seems so wrong
, & I never will, bed is for reading & sleeping. Mostly. I like to read for an hour each night in bed, if I can, delicious, almost the best part of the evening.
For show in case I have visitors? I don't have visitors, as such, & don't encourage them, I like solitude at home. I never had them at my own place, in Ilkeston, either, apart from occasional girlfriends, back in the day. That's girlfriends, occasionally, not the other way round.
Do you realise what you're missing?

In the excellent "My First Post on blonde" thread, Chili quoted her first Post thusly.....
Hello blondites
Just a quick virgin post to say hello and to thank tikay for introducing himself to me in the £50 notts tourney last night. It was a pleasure!
Whilst I don't doubt it was a pleasure for her to make my acquaintance, her Post is clearly disingenuous - it was SHE who introduced herself to me, or "hit on me", as they say.
PS - OK, this is just an excuse to send BIG birthday wishes today to Maria. Here are a few of her favourite photographs.
Here she is, doing her sexual pout.
Kidz, don't do drugs.
Dread to think what she has just seen here.
This was the GUKPT at The Vic, & she had just won a huge pot, when her Queens, aipf, busted both A-A and K-K, three way. She went on to finish 5th, for £27,000. Sadly, for her, she had sold a big bunch of her action to a good friend. That's what friends are for, eh?
Maria had a few shots at Live Updating, & took to it like a duck to water, with great gusto & enthusiasm. This is at The Vic.
What a pair these two make.
In Glasgow, at a blonde Bash, wearing a WSOP Bracelet., Anyone remember who the bangle belonged to?
Sorry Maria, no Maria gallery would be complete without your signature photo.
Happy birthday girlie, it's been fun, & your friendship & support has been very special to me. Have a grand day.
xx
