Hi Tikay.
Are you attending the SPT in Glasgow?
No, I drew the Brighton straw.
We have a "same day double header" on March 10, & Rich begged to do the Glasgow leg, so I had to reluctantly accept the Brighton job. You know how it is.
I believe you won your seat - I do hope the day goes well.
Not sure if you have been to Scotland before, but do be careful up there. Strange people.
I have also managed to qualify for this prestigious event.
Do we get free stuff
like satellite dishes with your face on them?
You'll get a free dinner.
Options will be, quote, "Curry, curry or effin curry".

Anna Fowler, btw, is really lovely - a genuinely "what you see is what you get" girl.

Anna is lovely, but who is this?
Looks like Lucy Pinder, but I could be mistaken.

Bugger. My Lappie has become infected with something called "Security Shield", & I now cannot open any files, or use it. (Am on Lappie # 2 now). Checked it out, apparently it is some virus thingie.
Guess I will have to get the IT people @ work to sort it tomorrow, unless anyone has some ideas suitable for an IT-illiterate? Cannot even access my Microsoft Outlook to do work stuff.
What a pain.
You're in a world of pain with this one. It's removeable but not without access to the laptop and a couple of spare hours. One for the IT People.
Yuh, I got that one and had to hand my PC over to Donks. Comedy antics ensued.

Id recommend "The Bear" public House but I know your not a drinking man. I havent been there long enough to recommend anything else!

Thanks Guy, & no, not yet, mainly been exploring the Thames so far.
Welcome back to the more educated Diary, guessed you would not spend long next door.

You read the times tikay? just started subscription for £2 a week, how good is that?
A Daily edition 7 days a week for the cost of a Sunday edition. On the Ipad is amazing, the photo's, video's. Only problem is it will take me days to get through the sunday edition!

I do, & I pay £1 a day (£1.50 Saturday) for the paper version, & often don't find time to read it. Reading hard copy newspapers is so awkward compared to Online.
Good shout, thank you, will set it up tomorrow. At £2 a week, may as well book a year's worth.
Excellent news.
