What's the deal with the book you alluded to in the betting thread? 50 trains of grey or someink?
WTF?!
I only wrote that Post about 5 minutes ago, you are in like a shot there Barry!
Pretty good title that, though........very clever.
I'll respond properly later Barry, gotta go do my Daily Reports.
Hope you are well.
You going to the Poker Awards thingie? I got an invite, & a nice chap rung me up yesterday to ask me to come along, (note to self, must reply on Monday), but unless I have got the dates mixed up, I am doing the TV Show that night, so may have to swerve the Awards. Mixed blessings I guess. I know all about the perception of Poker Awards, but when people vote for you (& I know that more than two, though less than four, did), it seems rather rude & ungrateful to be a "no-show". Remind me of the date, please?
Hope married life is good, & you & yours are well.

Why don't you send Blandy on your behalf to pick up your award if you win? He is in with all that lot at Bluff isn't he?

Monday 17th? I'm not working that night, we don't do a Monday Show, so I'm free. Guess I'll go then, as I do every year, applaud the winners, & take a bunch of blurry photos. Just hope they dont have that racist comedian on again, I nearly walked out when he did his turn last time.

"If you win"?, lol, you're having a laugh! "Contribution to Poker" usually goes to someone worthy, Devilfish or the like. Tell you what though, if Tighty has half a chance - & he does - I'd not miss it for the world.
Think Blandy lives oop north now, in Leeds or somewhere equally dreadful. He works in our Leeds Office now. I think he's due to become a dad next week, too, happy days.

Do you think they'll let you play in the tournament afterwards this year?
This was the event where a couple of years ago you weren't on the "list" so got refused entry right?

Wow, great recollection Aaron.
Yes, I took along a pretty female guest, smashing kid, poker nuts, I worked with her, (she works for Unibet now), I paid her entry fee, the Tourney was for those nominated, & their Guests, & SHE got allowed in the Tourney, & they refused me entry! No big deal though, these things happen, & I cba to argue about triviliaties these days.

To improve matters as we go forward over the next 2k pages one issue needs addressing. You set up an intriguing story and then say something like "but that's for another time". I would like to know when is that other time? "I was about to set sail aboard the yacht of a shipping magnate with two strippers, a vicar and three well known poker pros. A weekend of high stakes poker ensued but things didn't quite work out as planned to the embarrassment of all concerned. But that's for another time." This is story prostitution or at least story flirting and should be outlawed. I mean Tom gave us the wild-eyed vigilante cyclist story in full detail so prob has his nose in front. Other than that wp.
