I watched an old HIGNFY the other day, & a young lady caught my eye, she seemed to have a certain presence, but I'm not sure what it was.

Her name was Roisin Conaty, anyone know anything about her?

She certainly had something different about her. Star in the making, or just another lass trying to make her way in the world?

Also appeared in Impractical Jokers, a sort of "I dare you to..." show between four comedians.

You really should send Jeeves to Mere's for some spreadsheet lessons.  Jeeves has it far too easy otherwise.

Think that 4pm PLO on the 14th is optimistic. We land in Vegas 2-2.30? Then an hour or so at the airport, then taxi (or limo as Dylan is paying I think) then checking in etc!

Reckon ill give either the big bounty at the Venetian a spin - think it starts at 7?

They have "Late Reg" (I assume) Ryan, & it's PLO8, so missing a level or so won't make much odds, these things play very slowly. If I am too late, I'll go play some PLO8 cash somewhere, The Rio probably, & also collect my WSOP Registration Card & Media Pass & stuff.

The Virgin flight to Vegas has been very punctual lately, too, getting in at 1.30 Vegas quite often. Today's flight took off at 11.45, 20 mins late, but they build an extra hour into the flight time (for punctuality stats) so it will still arrive at around 1.45. Not that I check these things daily, like......

Investors Update, continued

That schedule looks like coming to around $6,500 - $7,000.

I think I had indicated a max spend of around $5,000, & so I suggest each investor (Doobs excepted, his deal is agreed) can decide between any of three packages, as follows.

Option 1

They just take their % in the 4 Events which were enboldened, the 4 biggest Events. They come to $4,300.

Option 2

Take a LESSER % at the same cost in the total basket. (So, 5%, which would have cost $250, becomes 3.6% of $7,000).

Option 3

Take the requested % in the whole package, expected to cost $7,000 or so.

I will send PM's to everyone shortly.

I will be happy to go with option 3. I will confirm deets with you at Brumland this w/end.

Sorry, if I have missed this...... is this totally seperate from the possible Main Event game? I dont think I have posted enough to post on that staking thread but I am still in agreement for my said %.

We will sort when I see you and you can let me know the total amount I will lose i will need to invest. See you Friday.

I just realised - she is the spitting image of Maylis Boardmann!

Same colour lipstick & everything. Might even be the same girl.

Confirmed, thank you. 1% of (approx) $7,000 it is.

Yes, it is TOTALLY seperate from the Main Event thing. You had 1% booked originally, when the List opened in 2012, but now the Forum Software has changed, & you are unable to Post on that Board. I will add you to the Main Event list, thank you.

No way!

As it happens, negotiations continue next door for me to be filmed doing this......

http://www.latimes.com/travel/deals/la-trb-las-vegas-thrill-ride-rio-towers-20130523,0,4294312.story

My response has been fairly forceful.

Can you imagine the cost of the insurance policy? It'd cost more to insure me than Betty Gable's legs, or Gene Kellys feet. Priceless, me.

I did a freefall parachute jump once, it was the most exciting thing I ever did for a couple of seconds, shortly followed by the most terrifying thing I ever did.  Zipwire looks a breeze by comparison.
